Right after the 9:45 Mass I will be leaving for a
9-day vacation, returning to the office on June 18. Fr.
Zach and Fr. Ivan will be ready to serve you, but don’t
overload them, but on the other hand, please make
sure that while the cat’s away the mice don’t play! I
am sorry that I will be missing Father’s Day since I am
the father of 7,000. I will be praying long distance for
the fathers of our parish. I am sorry also that I will be
missing Vacation Bible School in Spanish. But I will be
here for VBS in English. I did the opposite last year.
Those of you who missed our first “Taste of
St. Francis” on May 31 missed a wonderful
opportunity to taste some great ethnic food and
good ole’ American food—all
prepared by our parishioners. We
had a huge crowd who probably ate
more in samples than they would
have in a full course meal. Don’t
miss it next year when it will even
bigger and even better!
Those of you who missed
the free concert of the Frisco
Chorale after the Taste of St.
Francis missed incredible music and
voice that filled the rafters of our
Church with heavenly sounds. It
was the first concert in our new
Church, and what a great concert
venue our Church is! I thank them for gracing us with
Mozart’s Requiem Mass, and I hope the Frisco
Chorale returns so that you can hear them.
Don’t forget the Prayerful Presence that Fr.
Zach will direct us in next Saturday. Our burning
desire to respect and protect life is gaining steam as
several abortion clinics in Dallas have closed. Please
see the further announcement in this bulletin.
Después de la Misa de 9:45 del domingo me iré de
vacaciones 9 días, regresaré a la oficina el 18 de junio. El P.
Zach y el P. Iván estarán disponibles para servirles, pero no
los sobrecarguen, por otro lado, ¡por favor vigilen que
mientras no estoy se porten bien! Lo siento que no estaré
el Día del Padre ya que soy el padre de 7,000 feligreses.
Estaré pidiendo desde larga distancia por los padres de
nuestra parroquia. También lo siento que no estaré en el
Campamento de Verano en español, pero estaré aquí para
el Campamento de Verano en inglés. El año pasado fue
opuesto, estuve en el de español y no estuve en el de inglés.
Aquellos que no asistieron a nuestro primer evento
del “Sabor de San Francisco” el pasado 31 de mayo perdieron una maravillosa oportunidad de probar comidas deliciosas étnica y una asombrosa comida
Americana—todo preparado por
nuestros feligreses. Tuvimos una gran
participación quienes probablemente
comieron más de solo probaditas que
lo que hayan podido comer en una
comida completa. ¡No falten el próximo año ya que será todavía más grande y mejor!
Aquellos quienes no asistieron al concierto gratis del Coro de Frisco después del evento del “Sabor de San
Francisco” se perdieron de una increíble música y voces que llenaron las
vigas de nuestra Iglesia con sonidos
celestiales. Fue el primer concierto en
nuestra nueva Iglesia, y ¡qué gran lugar para conciertos es
nuestra Iglesia! Agradezco al coro por el privilegio de escuchar la Misa de Réquiem de Mozart, y espero que el Coro
de Frisco regrese, así podremos escucharlos.
No olviden un evento de Pro-Vida que se llama
“Devota Presencia” a la que el P. Zach nos dirigirá el próximo sábado estarán rezando el rosario afuera de una clínica
de aborto. Nuestro deseo ardiente de respetar y proteger
la vida está dando frutos ya que varias clínicas de aborto
en Dallas han cerrado. Por favor vean lo anuncios en este
boletín próximamente.

Parroquial de tiempo completo. Las responsabilidades incluyen

Respect Life Committee will be selling T-shirts this weekend the
Great Hall Narthex. This will benefit several events and organizations including White Rose, Birth Choice, and the Bishop’s Pro
Life dinner. T-shirts will be $10 each. Additionally, we will be
taking any and all donations for our annual baby shower. Donations can include diapers, clothes, cribs, and other assorted
baby items. The following Saturday, June 14th, please join us,
wearing your new Respect Life T-shirt, as Fr. Zach leads us to
Robinson Abortion clinic for a Prayerful Presence. We will
begin with Mass at St. Clare Chapel at 7:30 am, and then drive
down to Robinson Abortion Clinic immediately following Mass.
We will be back at St. Francis by 11:00 am.
New Altar Server Training will take place on Monday, June 9th
in the Church. Children must be in at least the 5th grade
(beginning in Fall 2014), and have made their First Holy Communion. An RSVP must be mailed to Deanna Quigley to attend

St. Francis is looking for a full-time Parish Administrator. Responsibilities include management of priests’ calendars, baptism
scheduling, bulletin editing, room bookings, website updating,
weekly enews, and new parishioner registrations and letters.
Qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office and efficient
time management. Preferred traits include bilingual (English &
Spanish), editing experience, and familiarity with web programming. Cover letter and resume should be sent to

Marriage Administrator position available
St. Francis is looking for a part-time Marriage Administrator. Responsibilities include meeting with couples, filing Diocesan paperwork, managing payments, as well as the processing of annulments. Skills include personable demeanor and bilingual (English
& Spanish). Since meetings with couples may need to take place

Liturgy & Hispanic Ministry Assistant position available
St. Francis is looking for a full-time person who would assist with
both Liturgy & Hispanic Ministry departments. Responsibilities
include assistance with preparation and ceremonies of all liturgical special sacraments and other annual events, scheduling of
liturgical ministers, translations, inventory and purchasing of liturgical supplies, and traditional administrative duties such as maintaining word documents, emails, payment processing, etc. Bilingual (English & Spanish), proficiency in Microsoft Office, and flexible schedule around special events is required.
