The company
Caswell manufacture and supply a comprehensive range of tailor
made adhesives for a wide range of industries, both in the UK and
overseas.
Established in 1890, Caswell is strategically based in central
England where it can quickly service its customers from a state-of
the art manufacturing unit in Corby, Northamptonshire.
The quality
Once proven and accepted, an adhesive formulation depends on
the consistency of supply. At Caswell quality is paramount.
As one of the first adhesive companies to register to ISO 9001,
covering not only the manufacture, but also the design and
development of new products. Every batch is tested before
despatch with samples retained ensuring total traceability of all
manufactured products. Considerable investment is made in both
quality and safety matters.

experienced within the adhesives industry. All the staff are fully
trained to ensure that the adhesives offered are specifically

personnel work hand-in-hand with customers to
carry out all kinds of trouble shooting, product
analysis and tests on new substrates and provide

Core products can be modified to suit individual
requirements with new grades able to be tailor
made to provide unique individual solutions.
Caswell Water Based Products
Best known for the Caswell 1000 range
of water based natural rubber latex
adhesives along with the 600 range of
ethylene vinyl and polyvinyl acetate
based polymers.
The Caswell 600 range includes a carton lap sealing
and laminating PVA adhesive. They are versatile,
fast setting, high wet tack adhesives for a majority of
applications. They are also easy to clean and cover a
range of applications.
The 2000 range of water based contact adhesives
formulated from the latest technology of
polychloroprene, polyurethane and acrylonitrile
polymers are our fastest growing range of products.
These are water based alternatives to the more
traditional solvent based products and offer safer noninflammable and environmentally friendly solutions to
the many diverse bonding problems.
In addition our range of low VOC adhesives keep the
quantity of VOC’s emitted during application down to an
absolute minimum, resulting in a low odour adhesive.

Moisture Cure Adhesives
Our solvent-free moisture curing polyurethane
adhesives are relied upon throughout the
roofing industry. From new sports stadia to
schools and hospitals they can with-stand the
highest of tolerances demanded by the roofing
and construction industry.
In addition the Caswell range of silane modified adhesives are
odourless, free from Isocyanates, solvents and silicones.
These products can be painted and bond a wide range of
substrates without the need for primers or surface preparation.
Our range of 100% solids moisture-cure polyurethane
adhesives have been designed to enable the bonding of
faced roof insulation panels (eg. polystyrene and PU) to most
commonly occurring roof decking materials. These products
are also ideally suited for bonding fleece backed single ply
roofing membranes to various substrates.

dependant on the specific membranes
We have a traditional solvent based synthetic rubber and
polychloropene adhesive range for bonding upstands and
membranes. To compliment these we have a range of high
performance water based, hot melt as well as moisture cure
polyurethanes for bonding single ply PVC, TPO and EPDM
membranes.
