Sales Rep Brian Ashby and Area Manager Sheri Bakken helped
out during the record breaking Powerball Jackpot at Gateway
Newsstand, inside the Crystal City Metro Station in Arlington.
There was excitement in the air, along with some confusion from
new customers who had never played the Lottery before. With
help from Owner Jay Patel, Brian and Sheri educated customers
late into the night on how to buy Powerball tickets and how to
use our equipment. As a result, on Wednesday, January 13, 2016
Gateway Newsstand was TOP 10 in the STATE for Powerball
ticket sales, selling more than $22,000 in one day.
