This is a project for new to knitting beginners,
so follow our easy instructions to make your first
scarf.
SIZE
One size, approximately 20 x 160cm/8 x 63in.
This is long enough to wrap around the neck once.
MATERIALS
One 100g ball of Debbie Bliss Roma in each of
Taupe 05 (A), Black 02 (B) and Blaze 06 (C).
Pair of 10mm (US 15) knitting needles.
TENSION
10 sts and 17 rows to 10cm/4in square over garter
stitch using 10mm (US 15) needles.
ABBREVIATIONS
cm = centimetres.
k = knit.
st(s) = stitch(es).
TO MAKE
With 10mm (US 15) needles and A, cast on 22 sts.

This row forms garter st and is repeated
throughout.
Work in garter st to the end of the ball, ending
with a complete row.
Change to B and work to the end of the ball,
