Our morning services are intimate and “heimish” and, weather
permitting, may be held outdoors facing our lovely pond and trees. We
encourage everyone to attend these summer services. They are very
enjoyable and participatory. A number of our congregants get an
opportunity to chant the Haftarah and from the Torah or deliver a D’var
Torah.
Attn: B’nei Mitzvah Students! During our summer services, upcoming
B’nei Mitzvah students and their families have an opportunity to participate
in and lead parts of the service before their special day. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity,

JULY OFFICE HOURS
For the month of July the Temple office will be open for visitors
and phone calls from 9:00am - 12:00 noon every day. The office
staff will be in the office until 5:00pm every day (3:00pm on
Friday) but the phones will be picked up by the machine.
We take this time every year to organize and catch up on
administrative work. During the hours of 12noon - 5:00pm, kindly
leave a message. The machine is checked often and calls will be
returned promptly the next morning.

in the TBR Tablet a couple of years ago.)

RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY FOR THE NEW
HENRY & ELAINE KAUFMAN EDUCATION CENTER
The sun was shining and there was a wonderful buzz in the air as we dedicated the
Henry and Elaine Kaufman Education Center
with a ribbon cutting on June 8, 2014. We had many dignitaries including
Doug Christie, Mayor of Wyckoff, Tom Kemly, president of Columbia Bank,
Henry and Elaine Kaufman, the clergy, and Larry Bjork from Bjork Builders.
All generations of our community filled the parking lot to
celebrate this exciting time in our history.

MEET GONEN ARAD
OUR NEW RELIGIOUS SCHOOL DIRECTOR
Dear TBR Community,
I am so honored and thrilled to be the new TBR Religious School
Principal. I feel truly blessed to be the instructional leader of such an
awesome school community!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you. I
have been dedicated to the field of Jewish education for the last ten
years, and have experience with a variety of secular and Jewish
organizations that engage with Jews and Jewish issues. I am very
passionate about connecting Jews with their Jewish identity. I hold a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, and a Master of
Arts in Jewish Education.
I have a beautiful and beloved wife, Einat, and two amazing children, Zohar and Maor, who I
know you'll get the chance to meet soon. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my
family and friends, traveling, sports, outdoor activities and listening to music. I am also a big
fan of the Miami Heat!
As the school principal, I will strive to create a positive school culture that promotes learning
and engagement for all students and parents. I will make sure that we fulfill our mission and
achieve our goals. I will do all that I can to keep the parents involved with the school. Parents, you are a very special and unique part of our learning community!
I also believe that good communication can lead to great things. My door will always be
open to you, and I encourage you to share your ideas and concerns with me.
Beginning Monday, July 21, I will be available to meet with parents privately. PLEASE

My goal is to meet with all families prior to the start of the new Religious School
year.
