McFarland, USA By: Hannah Breeggemann In this critically acclaimed new movie being released tomorrow, the new track coach, Jim White, comes to a Latino high school in California’s Central Valley. Coach White and his new students figure out they need to learn more about one another, and when Coach White realizes how much talent his kids have, things begin to change. His students have more than just physical talent, they have strong family support, an incredible work ethic and commitment to their team. These kids aren’t just winners, they are champions! If you are a track runner, it could give you a little bit more boost of energy! McFarland, USA is an inspiration to all track and cross country runners and I would highly recommend you go and watch it!
