Faculty in the Workplace This year’s FIW program included 23 teachers from TPS schools. For one week they went out into the workplace and got a taste of what it’s like to work in their field of interest. Participants thoroughly enjoyed this unique experience and have gained first-hand knowledge which has benefited the teachers and ultimately their students. One teacher states that they had a “great experience and learned things I took for granted.” The Faculty in the Workplace program not only benefits teachers, but also the organizations involved. A representative of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library says: “We love being able to spend time with teachers one-on-one and sharing what we know they can use at the library.” FIW Above: Lucas County Auditor’s Office Left: Toledo Museum of Art Odyssey Internship Program Odyssey Above: The Toledo City Paper Right: Maloney, McHugh & Kolodgy The Odyssey Internship Program has taken a big leap this past year.
