Greetings!
It's the middle of August, but Special Olympics NY - Long Island has a
very exciting second half of the year to look forward too! Within the next
few weeks our athletes will be competing in golf and softball tournaments,
followed by our Fall Classic on September 24th. Then, in October &
November we have our rUNDEAD 5k Zombie Run, our first Sponsor an
Athlete Event and our LARGEST plunge of the year!!! Grab some friends
and start a team!!! We hope to see you there, all the information is below!
Thank you to the N ew Yor k State Council Knights of Columbus for
hosting there annual Fishing Tournament on July 31st. They raised over
$7,000 for our Long Island Athletes!!!!
