First I’d like to say a huge “Grazie” to all the members for their help & kind
words since my knee surgery last month. The efforts of many are appreciated
by everyone. A meeting of the Friday Nite volunteers produced some good feedback & generated ideas designed to improve
the way we do business. Our happy workers lead to a great dining experience for our patrons who return often & bring their
friends! If you haven’t come in for dinner in awhile, come on down before the Snowbirds get back! If you weren’t at the Pig
Roast, you missed out on another superb event! Our upcoming calendar has many opportunities to join in the fun & get to
know your fellow members. We have a great facility, active schedule, willing helpers & suggest you mark your calendars in
advance so you don’t miss out on the future events. It promises to be another successful season! Ciao, Bruce

AUGUST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION !! 8/12/12
The members numbered 65. The birthday celebrants in attendance were Dawn Beland, Vincent Valinoti, Leanne Roddick,
Bobbie Trickett, Fannie Vaccaro, Kathy & Jerry Bullano;
Anniversary included Irene & Ivan Ciridnikov; & new member
Sandro Ravagnani was welcomed. Joanne & John Tufaro
treated us to her family recipes of baked ziti, special chicken &
sausage & peppers accompanied by green tossed salad. Justin
Terzi organized & assisted as well. Linda B’s Chocolate Fudge
Brownies topped with Ice cream & chocolate sauce served as
the birthday dessert. Emma & Jack Tarhalla, Betty Lou
Cattelona & Evelyn Tarricone were their very able assistants.
Dick Cattelona & Karl Bicknese set up the bar & Tom Opipari
was busy serving the drinks! Bruce manned the microphone &
then Beatrice lead the group in singing “Buon Compleanno a
lui”! This is a popular event for all members so try to attend
the next one scheduled for Sun. Sept. 16th at 4pm.
