Papers to be presented in the conference will be: A poster session will also be organized. Posters will be accepted for display at a minimum A1 size (594 x 841 mm; 24 x 33 in). At the time of submission, all EAs must be camera-ready. There will also be a “BEST POSTER AWARD” competition. The theme of the conference is PEAT AND OTHER SOIL FACTORS IN CROP PRODUCTION. In rain-fed agriculture on tropical soils, crop production is commonly limited by soil resources. A good understanding and proper management of soil resources is of utmost importance to optimize crop production, minimize production costs and maintaining or enhancing soil resources for future generations, which should lead to sustainable agriculture and forestry. This conference provides an ideal platform to all involved in agriculture especially soil scientists, agronomists, agriculturists, crop scientists, planters (general managers and estate managers) and agro-based entrepreneurs to meet and present their latest research findings, exchange ideas and share experiences especially on soil science, peat soil management and crop production.
