TUESDAY 9 DECEMBER YEAR 6 GRADUATION THURSDAY 11 DECEMBER YEAR 7 GRADUATION MONDAY 15 DECEMBER CELEBRATION NIGHT Students Leaving At The End Of The Year Please advise the office if your child or children are leaving Bull Creek at the end of this year. Some parents have already - thank you for contacting us. We were expecting to have thirteen classes for 2015; but, at this stage it looks like being fourteen classes. We already have approximately fifteen new students enrolled for 2015 - this does not include our forty new Kindy children. Water Wise The last 2 weeks have seen classes engaging in water activities as part of our school’s commitment to the “Water Wise” program which is aimed at encouraging children to reflect on their water usage and ways of protecting our precious water resources. Wattle 9 Pre Primary provided a fantastic assembly item on the Water Wise theme and they provided valuable information and advice for the school in a very entertaining manner. For the Water Wise incursions the Water Corporation conducted sessions with all our classes over the 2 weeks and covered topics of Waste Water, Water Conservation and Water Supply. Thank you to Mrs Toner and the Water Wise committee for co-ordinating our school program. P&C Endeavour Award Guidelines Over the years the criteria for the Endeavour Awards presented on our Celebration Night have not been as clear as they might have been. Some parents and staff have pooled their ideas, understandings and aspirations to come up with five guidelines which are listed below: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. The student has not received the award before. The student has been in the school for at least a year. Not in the student’s first year at the school. It is an award for the student who is trying their hardest. It is not necessarily for the most academic, popular or athletic student. It may be the student who flies under the radar but always endeavours to be their best. It could possibly be a student who might not win a major award during his/her primary schooling.
