ABOUT US
Transimont was born in 2003 thanks to the 20 years experience of Michele Carnessali in the
steel and engineering industry.
Transimont has grew up during the last years and now fully covers the market’s demand, in
metallic structure .
The company has more than 100 employees.
Transimont has its headquarters in Cluj-Napoca while the workshop is located at 80 km in
Zalau. The company has a workshop of 3600 square meters in three shed with 6 cranes of 10,
20 and 30 tons and from 2011 a sandblasting and paint cabin.
Transimont is now capable to satisfy the most diversified requests of its actual and potential
Clients in the heavy and light industry thanks to its own equipment and to the professional
expertise of its own employees. A close attention combined with a team of professionals from
various departments gave Transimont the possibility to diversify in these years the production
and clients’ portfolio. In the last years Transimont was present to many international fairs that
gave it the possibility to reach more clients and projects from different domain that improve
experience and know-how to its own production capacity.
Moreover, in April 2013 Transimont bought an already existing mechanical workshop that permit
to complete its range of production also for medium eqipement size.
TRANSIMONT uses the integrated management system in accordance with EN ISO 9001/2008,
SR EN ISO 14001/2005, SR OHSAS 18001/2008 SI SA 8000/2008. The audit of certification
has took place in February 2012.

LOCATION
Situated in a strategic position in the centre of Europe, Transimont can deliver and be easily
reached by all European states. The infrastructure on the Romanian territory is in a strong
expansion with the construction of the highways which will enable o more rapid way of
communication. Beyond the road traffic Transimont is situated near the train station for
eventual train transports.
In what expediting concerns the clients could refer to the Cluj-Napoca airport situated close to
Transimont’s headquarters and at 80 kilometres from the main workshop.

Our workshop, as well as to perform mechanical work for their own contracting companies, is
capable to provide work under contract.
The productive activities count 30 specialist operators and multiple machines and equipment,

Welded Structures
Transimont is able to build both designs developed in-house and on customer designs.
Transimont can offer both heavy and light metal construction, assembled and welded with
MIG-MAG method and TIG-WIG in accordance with the 3834 ISO welding standard .
Our welders are qualified under ISO 9606-1 standard .
Materials procurement , CNC , OXY-GAS cutting , assembling , heat treatment ( if necessary )
machining , sandblasting , painting , packing .
Transimont’s products are manufactured according to our own designs and specifications or to
special demands of the customer . .
