MANATEE TRIP December 31 - January 3 $350
This is your opportunity to snorkel and interact with manatees in Crystal River, Florida: truly a
memorable experience! Manatees are mammals and a protected species, often called “sea cows”
because they are gentle giants that eat aquatic grasses. You will get to float and skin dive with them
in calm, shallow water. It’s easy to take photos and video. During the trip, you will also have the
opportunity to do a drift dive or snorkel down the crystal-clear Rainbow River. We will have a group
cookout as well; it’s a great way to spend the New Year’s holiday with fellow water lovers! The trip
cost includes diving and three nights of double-occupancy hotel lodging. Divers are responsible for
their own transportation and meals (other than the cookout).
January 7 - 10
If you have completed your confined water (pool) course, this is a great way to finish your beginner
scuba training. We dive in the clear freshwater springs of northern Florida over two days. And if you
are already a certified diver, you can join in on the trip for only $200. Fees include admission to dive
sites, air fills, and three nights of double-occupancy hotel lodging. Divers are responsible for their
own transportation and meals.
BONAIRE July 10 - 17 $2195
Easy & unlimited shore and boat diving at its best! Instructor Ed Gabe is leading this trip to one of
our favorite annual destinations. You just can’t beat a week on the island of Bonaire. Truly a diver’s
paradise, the reefs start right at the shore, so countless dive sites circle the island! The waters are
calm, and the slopes are gentle, so everyone from beginners to advanced has plenty to do. We stay
at the Buddy Dive Resort, where you get unlimited tanks of air and nitrox, as well as breakfast every
day and generous discounts on additional meals! Many of our guests log 15 - 30 dives in this week
long trip, including beautiful night dives The “big pool” is always open, so come along with us!
FLORIDA KEYS DIVING ANY TIME !!!!!!
Former Lexingtonian and close New Horizons friend Brent McKee owns and operates the
Innerspace Dive Center on Big Pine Key, Florida. Brent’s place is perfectly situated at the Looe Key
Marine Sanctuary which boasts several very nice reefs in easy-to-dive depths. The wreck of the
Adolphus Busch is also close by, and if you want to dive the new USS Vandenberg wreck at Key
West, it is just a short drive south. Innerspace Dive Center is a full-service scuba facility, with a great
store and a safe boat. Getting there is a breeze with flights into Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, or Key West.
Learn more at www.diveinnerspace.com; we promise Brent will make your Florida Keys diving
experience a great one!!!!
