How to Update Account Details
This Quick Reference Guide shows you how to update your SingPass account details such as your contact information and your
security questions and answers. It is important to update your account details so as to receive notifications and access the full
functionalities of SingPass.

Go to “Quick Links”.
(a) Click “Update Account
Details”.

On this page, you will be able to
view your contact information
and security questions if you
have previously set up these
details.

To update contact details
(a) Enter your new mobile
number and email address.
(b) Select the radio button to
indicate your preferred
mode of contact.

UPDATE SECURITY
QUESTIONS
a) Click “Edit” beside the
security question box.
Click on the drop down list
to view the list of security
questions. Select a security
question from the drop
down list.
b) Enter the answer in the
Answer field.
c) Repeat these steps to edit
or set up a second security
question.
d) Click “Add more security
questions” to set up
additional security
questions.

Note:
You will need to set up at least
two security questions and
answers. Please note that the
answers are not case sensitive.

If you have updated your mobile
number, a One-Time Password
(OTP) will be sent via SMS for
verification. You should receive
this OTP within one minute. If
not, click on the “Resend OTP”
link to request for a new OTP.
a) Enter the 6-digit OTP.
b) Click “Submit” to proceed.
Please note that this OTP will
expire within five minutes of
receipt.

If you have updated your email
address, a separate One-Time
Password (OTP) will also be
sent to your email for
verification. You should receive
this OTP within one minute of
your request. If not, you may
click on “Resend OTP” link to
request for a new OTP.
a) Enter the 6-digit OTP.

b) Click “Submit” to proceed.
Please note that this OTP will
expire within five minutes of
receipt.

Your SingPass account details
are now updated! Please
remember your security
questions and answers. You will
receive an SMS or email
notification informing you of the
successful update.
If you are registering your
contact details with SingPass
for the first time, you will also
receive a notification letter to
your registered address within
four working days for local
addresses informing you of this
update. This will take more than
four working days to be
delivered to overseas
addresses.

Details” button to exit
confirmation page.
