Imagine your son playing a baseball game. A severe storm comes in, and a tornado
warning blares. Luckily, all the children make it to the dugout and remain safe
throughout the storm. We want to do better. We want the children to be safe at
home with the game cancelled, because our information warned them about the
storm. The National Weather Service is working toward taking action before such
events hits; that would be the best scenario. – Chris Strager
