Complete the following and return with requested materials no later than March 1, 2012 to
be considered for the 2013 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade®. All selections will be made

2. An 8x10 color photograph of the entire
Band in uniform.
3. A DVD (with sound) of the band performing
a complete drill (march-thru or parade format
performances are not acceptable). Please
ensure it has the best audio and video
quality possible.
4. Band Resume including:
a. Competitions and ratings
b. Parades and/or festivals
c. Awards and special honors
5. Band Director’s Biography
OPTIONAL MATERIALS
Letters of recommendation from music
educators and/or parade/festival directors.

NOTE: Please be certain all correspondence includes
a current e-mail address, telephone number and
mailing address for your band.
Macy’s, Inc. does not have control over the televising
of the Parade and cannot be held responsible in any
way if a participating group does not appear on
television or radio, or a group’s name is not
mentioned or performance described, or if for any
reason a group does not receive any publicity
therefrom. In like manner, it is understood that,
being a live event, circumstances may occur which
could prevent NBC from televising all or part of a
group’s performance, and, thus cannot hold the NBC
Television Network responsible in any way if a group
does not appear over the television or radio, or a
group’s name is not mentioned or performance
described, or for any reason a group does not receive
any publicity therefrom.
