Dog exercise areas Dogs and their owners are happier and healthier when they have regular exercise. The City of Mandurah allows responsible dog exercise off-leash on over 17kms of coastline, as well as 26 reserves throughout Mandurah. The City of Mandurah offers a variety of dog exercise areas to encourage dog owners to exercise their pets more often. It is an offence if you do not clean up after your dog in any public place or on private property without the consent of the occupiers. Free poo bags are provided by the City of Mandurah near bins at many locations throughout the district for collection of dog faeces. Tying a bag to your lead ensures you are always able to clean up responsibly after your dog. A dangerous dog (Restricted Breed) is a breed prescribed by the regulations to be a Restricted Breed under the Dog Act 1976. These breeds include, Pit Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, dogo Argentino, fila Brasileiro, Japanese Tosa and Presa Canario.
