REMEMBER: the gym will be open from 11 p.m., from Thursday 15/11 1. During the whole event any student who willingly or grossly negligently damages anything will be held responsible for the complete amount of the damage inflicted. 2. EUROSPORTEVENTS A.S.D. cannot take any responsibility for either sports accidents or self-inflicted accidents, thefts or losses of any kind. Please take care and look after your belongings yourself. RULES: • • • • • • Respect – you are expected to behave appropriately. Please do not make noise when coming into the gym or hotel from the party or damage things in the gym or in the Hotel. Food & Beverages – take care while handling food and drinks at the gym and the party afterwards. Fairplay – in order for everyone to enjoy the games, to guarantee equal chances and to secure your future participation in EURO ROMA, please be aware that Fairplay is requested from everyone. Please keep in mind: it’s a game, we don’t want you to seriously hurt each other. Friendship – at EURO ROMA 2012 we would like to create an atmosphere of friendship and understanding among the universities. This implies that you treat each other respectfully. Tolerance – We just want everything will be perfect, but the organization of EURO ROMA 2012 could suffer unexpected events or delays of the matches respect the timetable, depending on many reasons: be patient and flexible in your standing! Communication – there will be a Help Desk where only the heads of delegation or team leaders can ask information to our staff about the matches and the whole event, to avoid queue and work efficiently. Please understand that we reserve the right to exclude participants who are strongly violating these general rules of behaviour in order to ensure an environment in which everybody may feel relaxed and comfortable. RULES OF EURO ROMA 2012 FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT “BERRA” & “SAN PAOLO” SPORT CENTER Men: 16 teams, qualification round by pools of 4 teams on Thursday and Friday; the first 2 teams on quarter finals; semifinals and finals on Saturday. Duration of matches: Qualification rounds: 2x25 mn – mid-time 5 mn Finals: 2x25 mn – mid-time 10 mn Warm up: 10 minutes Equipment: balls provided n° 5; shoes for outdoor; natural grass and artificial grass FUTSAL TOURNAMENT “LE TORRI” SPORT CENTER Men: 36 teams, qualification round by pools of 4 teams on Thursday and Friday; the first 2 teams (points, difference on goal, goal made) on 8th finals, quarter, semi, and finals on Saturday. Women: 17 teams, qualification round by 3 pools of 4 teams and 1 pool of 5 teams on Thursday and Friday; the first 2 teams on quarter finals, semi, and finals on Saturday. Duration of matches: Qualification round: 2x10 mn – mid-time 2 mn Finals: 2x15 mn – mid-time 5 mn. The team has to be close to the field in time. After 5 mn of delay respect to the planned timetable, the match is judged lost for the absent team. BASKET TOURNAMENT “SAN PAOLO” , “TO LIVE” & “PALA LUISS” SPORT CENTER Men: 20 teams, qualification round by pools of 4 teams on Thursday and Friday; the first 2 teams on quarter finals, semi, and finals on Saturday; Women: 10 teams, qualification round by pools of 5 teams; the first 2 teams on semifinals and finals on Saturday; Duration of matches: Qualification round: 2x10 mn – mid-time 2 mn Finals: 4x8 mn male – 2x10 mn female - mid-time 2 mn Warm up: 2 minutes The team has to be close to the field in time. After 5 mn of delay respect to the planned timetable, the match is judged lost for the absent team. CHEERLEADING DANCE CONTEST “SAN PAOLO” SPORT CENTER 8 teams, there will be 3 professional judges. Evaluation on: gymnastic and athletic, choreography and dance ability, timing and rhythm, music choice, crowed enthusiasm. Time: minimum 3 / maximum 5 minutes each performance PRACTICE: on Friday there will be the possibility to practice the routine. From 9 am to 2.30 pm at San Paolo Sport Center, gym G. VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT “SAN PAOLO” & “PALA LUISS” SPORT CENTER Men: 12 teams, qualification round by pools of 4 teams on Thursday and Friday; the first 2 teams of each pool and the best two third, on quarter finals, semifinals and finals on Saturday; Women: 12 teams, qualification round by pools of 4 teams on Thursday and Friday; the first 2 teams of each pool and the best two third, on quarter finals, semifinals and finals on Saturday; Duration of matches: Qualification round, quarter final and semifinal: 2 out of 3 sets of 15 points Final ¾ place: 2 out of 3 sets of 15 points; Final ½ place: 2 out of 3 sets of 25 points Warm up: 5 minutes The team has to be close to the field in time. After 5 mn of delay respect to the planned timetable, the match is judged lost for the absent team. ATHLETICS TOURNAMENT “BERRA” SPORT CENTER Competition (male and female): Friday: 400 mt (M & F); 1 mile (1.608 mt) (M & F); swedish relay (100 F /200 M /300 F /400 M) Saturday: 800 mt (M & F); 1 mile relay (4x400 mt: 2 men + 2 women) Awards: best 4 teams in the summatory of all competitions (1st 10 points; 2nd 8 p.; 3rd 6 p.; 4th 5 p.; 5th 4 p.; 6th 3 p.; 7th 2 p.; 8th 1 p.) In each competition the university can take points only with his first athlete Only 1 relay team for university is admitted to the competition CHALLENGE CUP For each sport your teams will gain: • • • • • 1ST place - 10 POINTS; 2ND - 7 POINTS; 3RD - 5 POINTS; 4TH - 3 POINTS 5th place - 6th place - 7th place - 8th place: 1 POINT The university who’ll gain more points in all sports will keep the “Challenge Cup” for 1 year. If the university will win for three years (even not consecutive) the tournament, it will hold the “Challenge Cup”. Tournament direction is exclusive competence of EUROSPORTEVENTS STAFF. The enrolment at the tournament implies the complete acquaintance and acceptance of this Regulation. EUROSPORTEVENTS A.S.D. declines each responsibility for incidental accidents. The Referees are entrusted to the organizing staff and to the players fair play.
