Dear Customer!
On the 5th of June we will be
issuing three new stamp series.
The theme for this year's Europa stamps is old toys. In the
Norwegian toy industry, it is impossible to miss the name
Åsmund S. Lærdal. The motifs on the two stamps are the
Anne doll and Tomte cars from Lærdal. The stamps were
designed by Madeleine M. Karlstrøm.

Four new lighthouses are the motifs on the new stamps in
booklets.This time the issue of these definitive stamps covers
the denominations to Europe and the rest of the world.
Inger Sandved Anfinsen has designed the stamps.
The 5th of June also marks two jubilees: Halfdan Kjerulf's 200th
and Agnar Mykle's 100th. Kjerulf (1815-1868) was the first
Norwegian composer to achieve international status. He laid
the groundwork for Norwegian romanticism and Norwegian
men's choirs. Composers Nordraak and Grieg later followed
in Halfdan Kjerulf's footsteps.

Author Agnar Mykle (1915-1994) is considered one of the most
important Norwegian authors of the post-war era. He is most
known for his controversial books, «Lasso Round the Moon»
and «The Song of the Red Ruby». These novels are viewed as
high points in Norwegian literary history and their publication
played an important role in the freedom of speech in Norway.

B-Domestic was reprinted on
11/12/2014. There are no known
changes to the paper or the
perforation compared to the
first edition.
On the rolls from the first
edition in 2012, a B Economy
sticker was added between each
of the stamps in the roll. The
rolls issued this time are without
the sticker.
The reprint was first used on 4
May 2015.
Stamp
exhibitions
In April and May Norway Post
participated in stamp exhibitions
in Taiwan and Germany.
We issued exhibition cards and personal stamps
to mark both these occasions. The personal
stamps were used for the first time to frank the
exhibition cards. This was very popular among
the visitors at the exhibitions.
Taipei 2015 | 24-28/04/2015
Taipei is the largest city in Taiwan and home
to the world's second-largest building,
Taipei 101. As we see on the stamp, the
skyscraper, which is 508 m tall, towers over
the rest of the city. On the exhibition card
we zoomed in on the nightlife in one of the
streets in downtown Taipei.

This is the 25th time the traditional stamp
exhibition has been organised in Essen.
Essen is the second-largest city in the
densely populated Ruhr area of Germany.
On the stamp and the exhibition card we
see the city›s cathedral from different
angles and the City Hall towering in the
background. The City Hall in Essen is the
tallest city hall in all of Germany.
