Jeltupi CPS: at a glance
Progetto Uomo Rishilpi International Onlus
Bangladesh works for improving the
standard of living to the extremely poor,
vulnerable, disadvantaged community. To
promote
the
education
rights
of
underprivileged children it has operated
45 Community Primary School (CPS) in the
remote villages. Due to CPS intervention a
visible change is appeared in the
community that is the indicator of changes
are:
• Increased literacy rate, children are
enjoying their education rights,
• Children are no more exploited as child
labor reduced,
• Early marriage rate is reducing, health
and hygiene situation is improved,
• Socio-economic condition of the
community is improved,
• Community
is
valued
by
the
mainstream society.

Jeltupi CPS was established in
2009 to ensure primary
education for the children of
Rishi and Christian (out caste
and poor) community. There
are 49 students enrolled in the
school in 2014. The school has
been running with the generous
contribution of
Fratel Stefano.

selected Jeltupi village and is
being operated a school named
Jeltupi Community Primary
School (CPS).
There are 92 families live in the
Jeltupi village. The children of
these families read in the CPS.
After complete the class-III from
CPS they admit in the
Government primary school

A poor boy enjoying school
Nasim Hossain is reads in class- I. He
comes from a poor family. His widow
mother his only the means of their
livelihood. Her income is not enough
to bear their family expenses. His
mother was very much depressed how
her son goes to school. Rishilpi
arranged support for him and now he
is enjoying school. His mother is
happy to see him in school. He wishes
to be a teacher in future.
Conclusion:
Rishilpi International Onlus aims to ensure quality of education for the
underprivileged
children.
A
significant change is appeared
due to this intervention of
community primary education.
CPS is one of the best ways for
schooling
the
children.
Community is very grateful to
Fratel Stefano and conveys
their
thanks
and
deepest
gratitude to them for their
compassionate love to the
disadvantaged
children
of
Bangladesh. Rishilpi International Bangladesh is also thankful to the beloved
