The Father not only created us and uses his power to keep us in existence. He also surrounds us with blessings, more than we can image, because he is a loving Father. Jesus did not offer himself on the cross simply to make forgiveness of sins available. He thought of each of us personally and would give himself completely for us even if we were the only person in the world, because our Brother Jesus loves us that much. We are not simply relying on our personal good intentions or the guidance of our conscience in the moments of decision in our life. The Holy It would Spirit inspires us not be difficult to to a life of imagine God as generosity and some elusive, powerful distant force, in control of all service and self-sacrifice, so that we can more accurately reflect the example of things, yet detached from our daily life in a personal way. But, looks are often Jesus in our life. Whenever we feel discouraged deceiving. because we find life difficult or we know Today as we celebrate Trinity Sunday, we contemplate an aspect of that we could do so much more for God, God that was not known until Jesus we should remember that looks are often deceiving. In the eyes of God we are revealed it to us. The community of love that exists between the Father, Son and much more than we can imagine. Holy Spirit speaks to us in a powerful way Because God has chosen to share his community of love with us, and the because the most important persons in our life are the ones with whom we share Father, Son and Holy Spirit are always at a community of love -- spouse, children, work with us, making us to be more than we would appear to be. friends, our Faith community. veryone in Medford, Oregon thought that Gordon Elmwood was really poor. He drank milk well past the expiration day, collected bottles to turn them in for the deposit, held up his pants with a bungee cord, and was always in line for the free meal at the holiday times. Gordon died at the age of 79, and people were surprised to learn that he was actually a millionaire. He left 9 million dollars of his 10 million dollar estate to social services in southern Oregon.
