Konsolidierung nach jahrelanger Wachstumsphase
Consolidation after years of growth phase

orgel Elementbau hat in den letzten Jahren
eine sehr intensive Wachstumsphase durchlaufen. Zunächst stieg die Bauleistung in 5 Jahren um
mehr als das Doppelte auf 22,5 Mio. €, im Anschluss
erzielten wir 2013 bis 2015 nochmals deutlich höhere
Ergebnisse (siehe S. 4). Ab einer gewissen Größenordnung ist allerdings eine interne Anpassung an die
gewachsenen Herausforderungen erforderlich. So unterzogen wir unsere Strukturen und internen Abläufe
2015 einer Prüfung und optimierten diese, um auch
zukünftig alle Projekte meistern zu können.
2014/2015 erhielten wir erneut Großaufträge aus der
Energie-, und Papierindustrie, auch Aufträge aus der
Logistikbranche sowie aus der technikorientierten Industrie waren stark vertreten. Mit 66.600 m² Fläche
stellte das Logistikzentrum „Eurotime“ in Gildehaus
eine besondere Herausforderung dar. Beeindruckend
ist auch Festos „Technologiefabrik der Zukunft“. Um
optimale, sportliche Rahmenbedingungen ging es
beim Hallen-Reitsportzentrum in Riesenbeck. 2016
führen uns Aufträge aus der Energie- und Papierindustrie u. a. nach Frankreich und England.
Geschäftlich gut entwickelt hat sich unsere eigene
Umformtechnik, deren Platzbedarf aber für Arbeitsabläufe und Maschinenpark rasant gestiegen ist.
Deshalb bauen wir zur Zeit direkt hinter unserer Firmenzentrale eine neue Halle mit 1500 m² Nutzfläche
und einer Kranbahn, die optimalere Produktionsbedingungen gewährleisten soll.
Mittlerweile im siebten Jahr in Folge verstärken
zusätzliche Mitarbeiter (Projekt-/Bauleitung, Konstruktion) sowie auch Auszubildende unser engagiertes
Team. Mit Blick auf die Auszubildenden erfüllt es uns
mit Stolz, dass nach Katharina Ruppel auch Robin
Kemner im nachfolgenden Jahr zu den Besten des
Jahrgangs gehörte und für einen glatten „Einser-Abschluss“ von der Industrie- und Handelskammer (IHK)
ausgezeichnet wurde. Den „Hattrick“ verpassten
wir 2015 zwar knapp, aber auch unsere nächste
Generation der Auszubildenden schreibt regelmäßig
gute Noten oder glänzt durch gute betriebliche Leistungen. Anerkennung und Dank gebührt auch allen
anderen Mitarbeitern im Büro, in den Werkshallen
und auf Montage für ihren engagierten Einsatz und
ihr Qualitätsbewusstsein.
Borgel Elementbau has gone through a very intense period of growth in recent
years. Initially, the construction work volume has increased to more than double
to 22.5 million € in 5 years, following that from 2013 to 2015 we achieved once
more considerable higher results (see page 4). From a certain size, however, an
internal adaptation to the growing challenges is required. So in 2015 we took
an examination of our structures and internal processes and optimized them in
order also to be able to master all the projects in the future.
2014/2015 we again received major orders from the power and paper industries,
also orders in the logistics sector as well as in the technology-oriented industry
were strongly represented. With 66,600 m² of area the logistic centre „Eurotime“
in Gildehaus was a special challenge. Also impressive is the „technology factory
of the future“ of Festo. The focus was on optimal, athletic basic conditions at
the indoor equestrian centre in Riesenbeck. In 2016 orders from the energy and
paper industry lead us among others to France and England.
Business well developed is our own Umformtechnik, which space requirement
for work processes and machinery is increased rapidly. Therefore we are currently building directly behind our headquarters a new hall with 1,500 m² of usable
space and a crane runway, which has to ensure optimal production conditions.
Meanwhile, in the seventh year in a row additional employees (project / site
management, construction) and also trainees strengthen our motivated team.
With a view to the trainees, it fills us with pride that after Katharina Ruppel also
Robin Kemner was in the following year among the best graduates of his year
and was awarded by the Chamber of Commerce (IHK) for a straight “A” degree.
The „hat trick“ we shortly missed in 2015, however also our next generation of
trainees gets regularly good grades or shines with good operational performances. Recognition and thanks is also due to all other employees in the office,
in the workshops and on assembly for their commitment and their quality
awareness.

Schumacher Packaging: „Schnellverpackung“ aus innovativen Systemelementen
“Fast packaging” out of innovative system elements
In direkter Nachbarschaft zum Flughafen Münster /
Osnabrück baute Borgel Elementbau in nur 8 Wochen
für Schumacher Packaging ein hochmodernes Wellpappe-Werk. Produktionshalle und Hochregallager
bestehen aus vorgefertigten „Domico-Systemelementen“. Ein Dachelement und zwei Wandelemente
werden mit Gelenken zu einem Systemelement
zusammengefügt.
Die Vorzüge: Aufbau-Schnelligkeit, Kostenreduktion,
ansprechende Optik, Langlebigkeit und recycelbare
Materialien. Ein Kern aus Mineralwolle sorgt für
Brandschutz und Wärmedämmung.
In just 8 weeks Borgel Elementbau built for Schumacher Packaging an
ultramodern corrugated board plant located adjacent to the airport Münster /
Osnabrück. Production hall and high bay warehouse consist of prefabricated
“Domico system elements”. A roof element and two wall elements are joined
together with hinges to a system element.
The advantages: construction speed, cost reduction, attractive appearance,
durability and recyclable materials. A mineral wool core ensures fire protection
and thermal insulation. A ”Domico Hall“ can accurately be made in length, width
and height with all predetermined openings for gates, doors and windows.

Logistik- und Verwaltungszentrums der Kaiser
Bekleidungs GmbH nicht imaginär wie im Märchen. Anthrazitfarbene Paneele mit dezentem
Streifen-Design prägen den „Look“, stimmig zum
Firmenslogan „suit for success“. Kaiser ist ein
weltweit operierender Hersteller für Herren-Großkonfektion und beliefert große Handelshäuser.
Für 1 Mio. hängende Kleidungsteile erzielt
Kaiser nun u.a. schnellere Durchlaufzeiten mit
erhöhtem Automatisierungsgrad.

fairy tale. Anthracite coloured panels with a subtle stripe pattern
characterize the ”look“, consistent to the company slogan ”suit for
success“. Kaiser is a global operation manufacturer of menswear
and supplies large trading houses. For 1 million hanging clothing
Kaiser scores now among others faster turnaround times with
increased degree of automation.

Budnikowsky führt über 160 Filialen
in Norddeutschland und besitzt einen
gewissen Kultcharakter bei Kunden
und Mitarbeitern, die es augenzwinkernd „Budni“ nennen. Das 1912
gegründete Familienunternehmen
wurde mehrmals zum besten Arbeitgeber im gesamten Handel gewählt.
Im Hamburger Logistikzentrum des
Drogeristen fügte Borgel Elementbau
eine neue Lagerhalle hinzu und
leistete dabei Stahlbau, Dach- und
Fassadenbau.

Wärmedämmung und Brandschutz, bilden aber eine schwergewichtige Herausforderung in der Handhabung. A special feature is the use of 240 mm ”Trimo-mineral wool sandwich panels“, weight 250 kg
per element. These elements fulfill besides their special aesthetic also high demands for thermal

Die Rathaus-Galerie Hagen ist ein neues Einkaufscenter im Zentrum Hagens. Eine 200 m lange
Außenfassade, die Gebäudehöhe von 20 m sowie
20.000 m² Verkaufsfläche machen die Rathaus-Galerie Hagen zu einem „Eye-Catcher“. Da sich die
Randflächen bis zum Scheitelpunkt des halbrunden
Vordachs stetig verjüngen, schnitten wir die Trapezprofile dort in präziser Handarbeit individuell zurecht.
The Rathaus-Galerie Hagen is a new shopping
center in the center of Hagen. A 200 meter long external façade, the building height of 20 meters and

Nach der Zerstörung durch einen
Großbrand entstand auf dem Gelände
der Ancora Marina eine völlig neue
Ausstellungshalle für Segel- und
Motoryachten. Die lichtdurchflutete
Halle in Stahlbeton-Hybridbauweise
mit einer Dachkonstruktion aus Holz
erhielt eine akustische Dämpfung,
die auch andere Veranstaltungen wie
Konzerte oder Feiern ermöglicht.

Die Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH erzeugt pro Jahr
über 4 Millionen Tonnen Stahlprodukte für Abnehmer wie Fahrzeugindustrie, Röhrenhersteller und
Bauindustrie. Im Zuge einer Modernisierung bei
laufendem Betrieb entstand auch eine Kohle-Mahlanlage, in der Kohle für ihren Einsatz zur Befeuerung der Hochöfen vorbereitet wird. Wir versahen
den 70 m hohen Mahlturm, den inneren Aufzugsschacht sowie 7 Nebengebäude mit Fassaden.

modernization during operation there were built
a coal grinding plant, which prepares the coal for

Die Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG in Stans/Schweiz entwickelt, baut und verkauft weltweit u.a. Businessjets und Trainingsflugzeuge. Der Umsatz „überflog“
2013 und 2014 die Rekordhöhe von 1 Milliarde SFR.
Um mit der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung Schritt zu
halten, baute Pilatus in Stans ein neues Logistikgebäude. Ein 25 Meter hoher Bau, mit Hochregallager, Büros und Restaurant. In Zusammenarbeit mit
WEB Elementbau versah Borgel Elementbau das
vollautomatisierte Hochregallager mit Fassaden.
Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG in Stans / Switzerland develops, builds and sells worldwide among other business jets and training aircraft. In 2013 and 2014
the revenue „overflyed“ a record level of 1 billion
SFR. To keep pace with the economic development,
Pilatus built in Stans a new logistics building. A
25-meter-high building with high-bay warehouse,
offices and a restaurant. In cooperation with WEB
Elementbau Borgel Elementbau equipped the fully
automated high bay warehouse with facades.

Die erst 2013 gegründete Borgel
Umformtechnik GmbH hat sich in
nur 2 Jahren geschäftlich so gut
entwickelt, dass deren Platzbedarf
für Arbeitsabläufe und Maschinenpark stark anstieg und die bisherige
Produktionshalle 2015 „aus allen Nähten platzte“. Daher
bauen wir zur zurzeit direkt hinter unserer Firmenzentrale eine
neue Halle mit Kranbahn und 1500 m² Nutzfläche, die 2016
optimalere Produktionsbedingungen gewährleisten soll.

for workflows and machinery rose

hall was „bursting at the seams“ in 2015. Therefore we are
currently building directly behind our headquarters a new hall
with crane runway and 1,500 m² of floor space, which has to
ensure optimal production conditions in 2016.
Seit der Einrichtung einer ersten Schwenkbiegemaschine im
eigenen Lager konnte Borgel Elementbau Kantprofile für Fassadenecken flexibel und bedarfsgerecht selbst herstellen, statt
diese zukaufen zu müssen. Nachdem sich die Eigenproduktion
bewährt hatte, bot Borgel Elementbau die Herstellung dieser
Kantprofile auch für andere interessierte Unternehmen an. Die
dafür gegründete Unternehmenstochter Borgel Umformtechnik GmbH baute 2013 zwei Hallensegmente zu einer großen
Produktionshalle um und investierte in Mitarbeiter und einen
siebenstelligen Betrag für neue Maschinenanlagen. Seitdem
bietet die Borgel Elementbau GmbH im Verbund mit der Borgel
Umformtechnik GmbH und der Borgel Dach- und Fassadentechnik GmbH Auftraggebern und anderen Bauunternehmen
ein effizientes Gesamtpaket an Leistungen für Wand und Dach.
Since the establishment of a first folding machine in the own
storehouse Borgel Elementbau could produce folded profiles
for facade corners in a flexible and needs-based way on its
own, instead of having to buy them. After the in-house production had proved, Borgel Elementbau offered the production
of these folded profiles also to other interested companies.
In 2013 the therefore founded subsidiary company Borgel
Umformtechnik GmbH built two hall segments to a large
production facility and invested in staff and a seven-figure
sum for new machinery. Since then Borgel Elementbau GmbH
provides in cooperation with the Borgel Umformtechnik GmbH
and the Borgel Dach- und Fassadentechnik GmbH to clients
and other contractors an efficient overall package of services
for wall and roof.
