qualité des bougies « Gütegemeinschaft Kerzen e.V.
». Le label de qualité « RAL » garantit une compatibilité élevée avec la préservation de la santé et de
l’environnement. Dès lors que les instructions sont
respectées, les bougies se consument de manière
homogène et ne coulent pas. À qualité constante, la
durée de vie des bougies est exemplaire. Ainsi, le «

Eine Kerze ist viel mehr als nur die Kombination der einzelnen Bestandteile Wachs, Docht und Farbe. Eine Kerze
schafft Atmosphäre und Wohlbehagen, sie weckt schöne
Erinnerungen und tiefe Emotionen. Sie ist der kleine Luxus
für jeden Tag.
Seit der Gründung des Unternehmens im Jahre 1861 durch
Ludwig Wiedemann sind Kerzen unsere Passion. Heute
fertigen unsere rund 90 Mitarbeiter mit viel Engagement,
Hingabe und vor allem Erfahrung, jeden Tag ein Stück dieser Emotionen. Der Name Wiedemann steht für Tradition
und Qualitätskerzen „Made in Germany“. In nun 5. Generation leitet Juliane Wiedemann das Unternehmen. Die
Geschichte wird weitergelebt und in die Zukunft geführt.
Tradition bedeutet nicht nur Geschichte zu bewahren,
sondern auch Verantwortung für die Zukunft zu übernehmen. Wiedemann präsentiert sich mit „green candle“ als
einziger Kerzenhersteller weltweit der alle seine Produkte
durch 100% CO2-Kompensation klimaneutral stellt. Kerzen
von Wiedemann stehen für Umweltschutz und Nachhaltigkeit.
Bei Wiedemann werden alle Produktionstechniken der
Kerzenherstellung praktiziert: ob traditionell oder modern,
wir bewahren die Tradition des ursprünglichen Wachskunsthandwerks des Kerzenziehens und -verzierens. Daneben produzieren wir industriell im Mehrschichtbetrieb
termingerechte Lieferung von Großaufträgen.
Seit Januar 2014 operiert unser Versand aus unserem neuen Logistikzentrum in Mietraching, in nur 4 km Entfernung
von der Produktionsstätte. Hier haben wir ein hochmodernes Hochregallager mit 2.800 Palettenstellplätzen bezogen. Somit verfügen wir über ausreichend Platz für eine
effiziente und schnellere Logistik. Unser umfangreiches
Lagersortiment mit über 2.500 Artikeln ermöglicht kurzfristige Lieferung ganz nach Ihrem Bedarf.

Today, our 90 employees inspire a part of these emotions
on a daily basis with a lot of commitment, dedication, and
above all experience. Since our founding in 1861 by Ludwig Wiedemann, candles have been our passion. Now, in
its 5th generation, Juliane Wiedemann currently manages
the company successfully in the future. The story lives on.
Tradition means not only preserving history, but also taking responsibility for the future. As the only candle manufacturer worldwide, whose entire product line is 100%
carbon neutral, thanks to complete CO2 compensation,
Wiedemann candles exemplify environmental responsibility and sustainability. We are the “green candle”.
At Wiedemann all production techniques in candle manufacturing are employed, whether traditional or modern.

In January 2014, we relocated the shipping process to our
new logistics centre in Mietraching, only 4 km from the
production site. This very modern, high-bay warehouse,
accommodating 2,800 pallet spaces, ensures sufficient
flexibility for a fast, efficient logistical operation. Our extensive stock holding of over 2,500 stock items enables
the short-term fulfilment of deliveries according to your
needs.

Una candela non è soltanto l’insieme dei suoi componenti:
cera, stoppino e colore. Una candela crea atmosfera e suscita un senso di benessere, richiama alla mente ricordi piacevoli ed emozioni profonde. È un piccolo lusso quotidiano.
Dalla fondazione dell’impresa nel 1861 a opera di Ludwig
Wiedemann le candele sono la nostra passione. Oggi una
parte di queste emozioni si realizza grazie all’impegno,
alla dedizione e soprattutto all’esperienza quotidiana dei
nostri quasi 90 addetti. Il nome Wiedemann è sinonimo
di tradizione e di candele di qualità „Made in Germany“.
L’azienda, oggi alla quinta generazione, è gestita da Juliane Wiedemann. La storia continua verso un futuro promettente.
Tradizione non significa soltanto custodire la storia bensì

Da gennaio 2014 il nostro reparto spedizioni opera dal nuovo centro logistico di Mietraching, a soli 4 km dallo stabilimento. Qui abbiamo realizzato un modernissimo magazzino a camere alte con 2.800 spazi pallet. In questo modo
disponiamo di spazio sufficiente per organizzare una logistica efficiente e snella. Il nostro vasto assortimento a

den schonenden Umgang mit Ressourcen.
Im Interesse einer zukunftsorientierten Entwicklung und als Teil unserer sozialen Verantwortung beschäftigen wir uns intensiv mit dem Thema Nachhaltigkeit in Form einer ökosozialen Marktwirtschaft. Schutz von Klima und Umwelt,
verantwortungsvoller Umgang mit Energie und Rohstoffen, Reduzierung von
Emissionen und Abfall, Förderung internationaler CO2-Kompensationsprojekte sowie soziales Engagement spielen dabei eine zentrale Rolle.
Nachhaltigkeit – ein globaler Balanceakt für
die Zukunft
Nachhaltigkeit fasst viele Ziele zusammen. Es ist ein
mehrdimensionales Konzept, der Versuch der Herbeiführung einer Balance zwischen verschiedenen Bereichen des Lebens: von der Ökologie über Ressourcen und
Klima bis hin zu sozialem Frieden und kultureller Vielfalt in
einer Welt ökonomischer und politischer Freiheit, aber auch
einer Welt individueller und gemeinsamer Verantwortung.
Unsere über 150-jährige Tradition bedeutet nicht nur Geschichte zu bewahren, sondern
auch Verantwortung für die Zukunft zu übernehmen. In diesem Kontext zielen wir auf Nachhaltigkeit und entwickelten gemeinsam mit dem renommierten Forschungsinstitut für anwendungsorientierte Wissensverarbeitung (FAW/n) in Ulm und seinem Vorstand Professor Dr. Dr. Franz Josef
Radermacher einen Stufenplan zur Umsetzung eines Nachhaltigkeitskonzepts für unsere Produkte und das gesamte Unternehmen Wiedemann.
Zertifizierte Klimaneutralität durch 100% CO2-Kompensation
Wir haben den Carbon Foot Print unserer gesamten Produktion erfasst, von der Herstellung der Produkte, dem Abbrand bis hin zur Entsorgung. Es ist fester Bestandteil unserer Organisation Emissionen zu erfassen, zu verringern bzw.
zu vermeiden. Die verbleibenden Emissionen werden durch den Kauf von Klima-Zertifikaten zu 100% kompensiert.
Im Ergebnis wurde sowohl für das Unternehmen, als auch für unsere Kerzenprodukte in Zusammenarbeit mit dem TÜVSÜD unter dem Standard CMS 41 die Klimaneutralität bestätigt und zertifiziert. Der TÜV-SÜD fungiert als akkreditierte
Zertifizierungsstelle unter dem Standard UNFCCC für CDM/JI-Klimaschutzprojekte.
Wiedemann erster Kerzenhersteller weltweit, der alle seine Produkte klimaneutral stellt.

* Wiedemann strebt Null-CO2-Emission an und sorgt in seinem Unternehmen konsequent für
Klimaneutralität. Wiedemann fördert Klimaschutzprojekte rund um den Globus im gemeinsamen

Beim Abbrand der green candle* Kerzen entstehen zwar weiterhin unvermeidbare CO2-Emissionen,
doch diese werden durch die vorgenommenen Kompensationen in Summe CO2-neutral gestellt.
Deshalb stehen die von Wiedemann produzierten Kerzen für den verantwortungsvollen Umgang
mit Ressourcen und somit für die Zukunft unserer Kinder.

Carbon Dioxide Balance
Wiedemann recognizes that we all have a grave responsibility
for the environment.
As part of a future-focused development and our social responsibility we concentrate
on sustainability with regards to an eco-social market economy. Climate and environmental protection, responsible handling of energy and resources, reduction of emission and waste, promotion of international carbon dioxid compensation projects as
well as social commitment are major issues of our concern.
Sustainability - a global balancing act for the future
Sustainability embraces various ambitions. It is a multidimensional concept, the effort to achieve a balance between
different areas of living: from ecology to resources and climate, to social peace and cultural diversity in a world of economical and political freedom, but at the same time a world of
individual and collective responsibility.
Our 150 years of tradition not only imply preservation of earlier
achievements but also to take responsibility for the future. In this
context we are dedicated to the overall aim of sustainability which we are implementing in
cooperation with the established Research Institute for Applied Knowledge Processing (FAW/n) in
Ulm, Germany. In collabaration with the FAW/n chairperson Prof. Dr. Dr. Franz Josef Radermacher we
have developed elements of a sustainability strategy concerning our products and the complete Wiedemann venture.
Certified carbon neutral through 100% CO2 compensation
We have recorded the carbon footprint of our entire product life cycle from the production and burning of our candles
through their disposal. It is an integral part of our organization to record, reduce and avoid emissions. The remaining
emissions are offset up to 100% through the purchase of climate certificates.
As a result, climate neutrality has been confirmed and certified under the CMS 41 standard for both the company and
our candle products in cooperation with TÜV-SÜD. TÜV-SÜD acts as an accredited certification body for CDM/JI climate
protection projects under the UNFCCC standard.
Wiedemann is the first candle manufacturer worldwide to produce certified 100% climate-neutral candles.

orientata all’applicazione pratica (Forschungsinstitut für anwendungsorientierte Wissensverarbeitung (FAW/n)) e con il direttore Professor Dr. Dr. Franz Josef Radermacher abbiamo elaborato un
piano per la realizzazione graduale di un concetto di sostenibilità per i nostri prodotti e l’azienda Wiedemann nel suo complesso.
Impatto neutro sul clima certificato grazie al 100% di compensazione delle emissioni di CO2
Abbiamo adottato il principio del Carbon Foot Print per tutta la nostra produzione, dalla fabbricazione del prodotto al
consumo e allo smaltimento. La nostra organizzazione considera fondamentale individuare, ridurre rispettivamente
evitare le emissioni. Le emissioni residue vengono compensate con l’acquisto di certificati di compensazione al 100%.
Come risultato, in collaborazione con il gruppo TÜV-SÜD, è stato confermato e certificato l’impatto zero sull’ambiente
sia dell’azienda sia delle nostre candele in conformità allo Standard CMS 41. TÜV-SÜD è un organismo di certificazione
accreditato secondo lo standard della Convenzione quadro delle Nazioni Unite sui cambiamenti climatici (UNFCCC) per
i progetti di protezione del clima CDM/JI.
Wiedemann è il primo produttore di candele al mondo a produrre tutti i suoi prodotti con impatto zero sul clima.

Neutralité carbone certifié par la compensation à 100% des émissions de CO2
Nous avons défini l’empreinte carbone de notre production totale, de la production des produits passant par le taux de
combustion jusqu’à la mise au rebut – d’enregistrer, de réduire et/ou d’éviter les émissions, c’est une partie intégrante de
notre organisation. Les émissions restantes sont compensées à 100 % par l’achat de certificats de réduction d’émissions.
En collaboration avec TÜV-SÜD, l’une des plus grandes structures internationales d’essai et de certification, la neutralité
climatique de l’entreprise ainsi que de la production de bougies a été confirmée et certifiée selon le standard CMS 41.
TÜV-SÜD exerce les fonctions d’un organisme accrédité de certification selon le standard UNFCCC pour CDM/JI*- projets
de protection du climat. *UNIFCCC United Nations Frameword Convention on Climate Change; CDM Clean Development Mechanisme; JI Joint Implementation.

Instructions for use of
candles
Der Händler (oder „Inverkehrbringer“) ist verpflichtet, seine/n
Kundin/en über die sachgemäße Handhabung einer Kerze zu informieren.
Wir stellen kostenlos Abbrandanleitungen zur Verfügung. Jegliche Produkthaftung trägt der Händler. Sollte die Abbrandanleitung einmal fehlen, fordern Sie diese bitte vor Weitergabe der
Kerzen an den Verbraucher nach.
Every distributor is responsible to inform his customer about the
safe handling of a candle.
We offer burning instruction hand-outs at no cost to the distributor. He may carry any product liability. If you miss these instructions, please contact us before you hand over the candles
to the consumer.
Ratgeber zur Kerzenpflege
1. Die Kerze ist ein offenes Licht. Sie muss gepflegt werden und darf als
„offenes Feuer“ nicht unbeobachtet abgebrannt werden.
2. Kerzen nicht zu dicht neben- oder untereinander brennen.
3. Streichholzreste, Dochtstücke oder andere Fremdkörper aus dem
Brennteller entfernen.
4. Kerzen vertragen keine Zugluft, dadurch beginnen sie zu rußen, zu
tropfen und brennen einseitig ab.
5. Wenn die Kerze sichtbar rußt, Kerze auslöschen und Docht vorsichtig
auf 1 cm kürzen.
6. Bei einseitigem Abbrand Docht vorsichtig zur Seite biegen. Einen erstarrten Docht nicht biegen oder abbrechen.
7. Einen zu hohen Kerzenrand kann man im warmen Zustand abschneiden. Kerzen mit überstehendem Rand in regelmäßigen Abständen
nachschneiden (mindestens alle 4 Stunden).
8. Kerzen möglichst so lange brennen, bis der ganze Brennteller flüssig
ist.
9. Den Docht zum Löschen in die flüssige Wachsmasse tauchen und
wieder aufrichten.
10. Kerze immer auf einem feuerfesten Untersetzer oder Kerzenhalter
abbrennen.
Instructions for use of candles
1. A burning candle is an “unshielded fire” and therefore never leave it
unattended.
2. Dont’t put burning candles next to each other or on top of each other.
3. Any broken pieces of matches, wick or debris should be removed from
the wax pool.
4. Protect the candle against draft. A candle placed in a draft will always
smoke, drip and burn unevenly.
5. If the candle smokes visibly, extinguish the candle and cut hte wick
carefully to approx 1 cm in length.
6. In case of one-sided burning, bend the wick carefully aside, never
bend or break a solidified wick.
7. A candle’s edge that is too high must be cut in warm condition (minimum every 4 hours).
8. Burn the candle until the wax is melt to a pool on the candle’s head.
9. For extinguishing please dip the wick into the liquid waxpool and reset it up.
10. Burn candle on non flammable coaster or in non flammable holder.

Il rivenditore (o chi commercializza il prodotto) ha l’obbligo di
informare i/le clienti sulla corretta modalità di utilizzo delle candele.
Sono disponibili gratuitamente istruzioni per l’uso. La responsabilità del prodotto è interamente a carico del rivenditore. In
mancanza di istruzioni per l’uso si prega di richiederle prima di
consegnare le candele al consumatore finale.
Le revendeur (ou « vendeur ») est tenu d’informer son/sa/ses
client/e(s) sur le maniement correct d’une bougie.
Nous fournissons des consignes pour la protection contre
l’incendie. Toute responsabilité du fait des produits incombe au
fournisseur. Si ces consignes pour la protection contre l’incendie
manquent, demandez-les avant la vente du produit au consommateur final.
1. La candela è una luce viva. Deve essere curata, e in quanto „fiamma
libera“, deve essere costantemente sorvegliata.
2. Non tenere accese delle candele troppo vicine l‘una all‘altra o l‘una
sopra l‘altra.
3. Non devono essere presenti nel sottopiatto della candela resti di
fiammiferi, pezzi di stoppino o altri corpi estranei.
4. Le candele non sopportano le correnti d‘aria. Infatti, iniziano a produrre
fuliggine, a gocciolare e a bruciare da una parte.
5. Se la candela produce fuliggine in modo visibile, accorciare con
attenzione lo stoppino durante l‘accensione, e se necessario, spegnere
la candela.
6. Se la candela brucia da un lato, piegare lo stoppino con cautela. Non
piegare, né rompere mai lo stoppino, quando è indurito.
7. Se diventa troppo alto, è possibile tagliare il bordo della candela quando è ancora caldo. In caso di candele con immagini applicate, tagliare a
poco a poco il bordo in eccesso a distanze regolari.
8. Bruciare le candele fino a quando l‘intero sottopiatto è liquido.
9. Immergere lo stoppino nella cera liquida e raddrizzarlo di nuovo. Così
questo è in posizione corretta per essere acceso.
10. Bruciare la candela sempre appoggiata su un sottopiatto.
Comunicare sempre all’utilizzatore finale le istruzioni per l’uso dell candele!
1. Une bougie est une lumière vivante. Elle doit être entretenue et
surveillée continuellement en tant que „flamme nue“.
2. Les bougies allumées ne doivent pas être placées trop proches les unes
des autres ou les unes en-dessous des autres.
3. Les restes d’allumettes, les bouts de mèches ou autres corps étrangers
ne doivent pas se trouver dans le bassin de fusion.
4. Les bougies ne supportent pas les courants d’air: elles commencent
alors à produire de la suie, à goutter et à brûler de manière unilatérale.
5. Si la bougie produit de la suie de manière visible, raccourcissez la mèche
avec précaution lors de la combustion; si besoin est, éteignez la bougie.
6. Si la bougie ne se consume que d’un côté, pliez la mèche vers l’autre côté
avec précaution. Ne jamais plier ou casser une mèche solidifiée.
7. Un bord de bougie trop élevé peut être coupé à l’état chaud. Dans le cas
de bougies décorées de décalcomanies, coupez le bord qui dépasse à
intervalles réguliers.
8. Si possible, laissez les bougies brûler jusqu’à ce que le bassin de fusion
se soit entièrement formé.
9. Plongez la mèche dans la masse de cire liquide pour l’éteindre et redressez-la de façon à ce qu’elle soit dans la bonne position d’allumage.
10. Une bougie doit toujours brûler sur un support.

Avantages de l’emballage en cellophane
Gli articoli cellofanati presentano non pochi vantaggi, quando la candela viene
venduta singolarmente al dettaglio:
1. Solo le candele cellofanate sono complete di etichetta singola contenente
tutte le principali informazioni di prodotto:
a. Codice EAN leggibile dallo scanner della cassa
b. Simboli di consumo per la sicurezza e la responsabilità del prodotto
c. Durata di combustione come argomento di vendita
d. Marchio di qualità „RAL” per il prodotto „Made in Germany”
e. Marchio „green candle” per amore dell’ambiente
f. Denominazione e misura dell’articolo.
2. Il cellophane protegge la superficie della candela dallo sporco e da eventuali
graffiature. Così il valore della merce a magazzino si mantiene più a lungo
inalterato.
Tutte le candele vengono prodotte con possibilità della versione ASF (vedere a
pagina 11).
Pellicola ASF fornibile con sovrapprezzo.

klare und lebendige Farben trotz Rustik-Oberfläche. Die
natürliche Anmutung der Kerze wird unterstrichen durch
ihre Verpackung ohne Cellophan und einer trendigen Banderole in schwarz.
Natural-looking surfaces are currently very popular. The
smooth but marbled surface appearance of the earlier
series has been transformed into a subtly rustic surface.
The "D-Lux Marble" series stands out with its clear and vivid
colours despite its rustic surface. The natural appearance
of the candle is underlined by its packaging with no cellophane and a stylish black band.
Le superfici dall’effetto naturale sono assolutamente il
trend del momento. La superficie liscia ma dall’effetto
ottico marmorizzato della serie precedente è stata trasformata in una delicata superficie rustica. La serie “D-Lux
Marble” si caratterizza per i suoi colouri vivaci e chiari
nonostante la superficie rustica. L’aspetto naturale delle
candele è sottolineato dalla confezione, che non prevede
cellofan, e da una moderna fascia di coloure nero.

welches es Ihnen ermöglicht das Thema Kerze ganzjährig mit
gesteigertem Umsatzpotential sowie als Wettbewerbsvorteil zur
SB-Schiene zu platzieren.
Die hier vorgestellten Regalkonzepte sind nach Laufmeter Regalfläche unterschiedlich und passen sich somit flexibel Ihrer Ladengröße an. Integrieren Sie die Kerzenwand in Ihr bestehendes Ladenbausystem ohne großen Aufwand und zusätzlich benötigter
Lagerfläche.
Die hier empfohlen Konzepte enthalten ausschließlich bei Wiedemann lagernde Artikel und sind somit nach Bedarf schnell verfügbar.

No room for a new sales furniture piece?
No problem, the Wiedemann POS shelf concepts are easily integrated into your existing shelf system.
We have developed a professional POS concept which enables
you to present candles as non-seasonal items with increased
potential sales volume. In addition this presentation offers you a
competitive advantage over big-chain markets.
The presented POS shelf concepts can be varied by the metre
according to the available shelf space, and can thus be adjusted to
your store size. Integrate the candle wall into your existing store
furniture layout easily and without the necessity of additional
storage space.
The concepts recommended here include only items in stock at
Wiedemann, and are therefore available at short notice as required.
Offer your customers a lively candle presentation, which is easily switched from “spring/summer” season to “autumn/winter”
season by changing just a few colours. By presenting a harmonious colour gradient, you turn your candles into an attractive, yearround item with increased sales volume potential.
For Christmas season, we recommend additional POS presentation solutions. Please see page 40-41 of this catalogue for details.
The sets shown must be ordered as complete sets. The chosen colours and sizes are our top-sellers and cannot be changed within
the set offer, which includes 1-2 units per colour and size. For the
shelf dimensions indicated, there will be only a small amount of
excess stock.
Re-orders are easily completed when required with the help of
the unit re-order form included.

Nessun problema, gli scaffali a parete Wiedemann si possono facilmente integrare nel sistema a scaffali esistente.
Abbiamo messo a punto un sistema professionale di scaffali che
consente di dedicare al tema candele uno spazio che incrementa il potenziale del giro d’affari nel corso di tutto l’anno, con un
vantaggio considerevole rispetto alla concorrenza degli scaffali
self-service.
Le scaffalatura qui presentate sono proposte a metro lineare, in
varie versioni, adattabili in modo flessibile alla dimensione del
punto vendita. Potrà così integrare la parete di candele nel sistema di arredo esistente senza grandi spese e senza bisogno di ulteriore spazio di magazzinaggio.
I concetti qui proposti comprendono articoli disponibili esclusivamente presso Wiedemann e sono quindi fornibili in tempi brevi
secondo necessità.
Proponga ai Suoi clienti una presentazione dinamica delle candele cambiando solo qualche colore tra la stagione primavera/

rayonnage existant.
Nous avons développé un concept d’étagères professionnel vous
permettant de placer toute l’année le thème de la bougie pour
accroître votre chiffre d’affaires, représentant aussi un avantage
concurrentiel par rapport au rail SB.
Les concepts présentés sont adaptables selon les mètres linéaires des rayonnages et s’adaptent donc facilement à la taille
de votre magasin. Intégrez la paroi à bougies dans votre système
d’étagères existant sans grand effort et sans espace supplémentaire de stockage requis.
Les concepts recommandés ici contiennent exclusivement des
articles en stock chez Wiedemann et sont donc rapidement disponibles au besoin.
Proposez à vos clients une présentation de bougies dynamique
en changeant moins de couleurs entre les saisons printemps/été
et automne/hiver. En présentant un dégradé de couleurs harmonieux, vous mettez en valeur la bougie consommable et de façon
attrayante pendant toute l’année et vous créez ainsi un potentiel
de ventes supplémentaires.
