New Information:
Information
Super Wednesday is Coming! On Wednesday, October 15, Sehome will be participating in the nationwide testing
event. Beginning promptly at 7:45 am, freshmen will be taking the Readi-Step Exam; sophomores and juniors will be
taking the PSAT exam; and seniors will be attending various workshops geared towards college and career planning.
All test results will be returned to students in December. PSAT study guides are available in the main office. There is
no cost to students for the exams.
On Thursday, October 16th, Sehome High School will be administering Washington State’s schoolbased Healthy Youth Survey during Anchor. This survey is given every two years to high school
sophomores and seniors. Questions on the survey are from valid national surveys. The survey results
are important to school, county and statewide stakeholders and are used for needs assessment,
planning, program improvements and evaluation.
Participation in the survey is voluntary. Students can also skip questions they do not want to answer. A
student’s individual results are confidential. If parents do not want their student to take the survey or if
students do not want to take the survey, please see Mrs. Turrell in the main office. We are asking
sophomores and seniors to complete the survey before they “move” to another Anchor, etc.
If you have questions, please see Dr. Barga.
