Project Work – Navigating the Challenges of Coursework What is Project Work? • National H1 examination in the form of school-based coursework • Taken by all freshmen during curriculum hours Overview • Starts 9 March and ends 30 Oct – 6 Nov • Deliverables are written submissions and an oral presentation Work to be submitted • Preliminary Idea (individual work) • Group Project Proposal (group work) • Evaluation of Material (individual work on one piece of research material) • Written Report (group report of the project) • Oral Presentation (group presentation where individuals present the group project and answer a question on the group project) • Insights and Reflection (individual work reflecting on the ideas and processes of the group project) Support for PW • Global Perspectives Symposium • Project Eureka • Workshops on ICT and research skills • In-class supervision • Group consultations 2
