If you are visiting today we are glad you are here! Whether you
come with questions and curiosity about Christianity or are looking
for a church to call home we would like to get to know you. We
gather to encounter the living God who has made himself known
through the Bible and the person of Jesus Christ.
Here at New Life our mission is to build a community centered on
Jesus, active in the renewal of all things. Where Jesus is, new life
is always bursting forth. Where Jesus is, broken things are
redeemed. As a church we seek to make visible these realities
where we live, work, and play. This bulletin highlights some of the
ways we are doing this and we invite you to join us.

GriefShare begins March 9. If you or someone close to you has lost a loved
one to death, the journey of grieving is a very painful road that we do not want
you to travel alone. New Life Church in Dresher will be hosting a 13-week
grief support-group called ‘GriefShare’ on Monday evenings, 7-9 pm, from
March 9th through June the 8th, 2015. Anyone interested in attending will need
to pre-register so that they can be assured a GriefShare notebook($15.00) and a
place in the group. If you are interested in signing up for the group, or have any
other questions about it, please contact Sandy Elder at (215) 884-5149.
The Food Cupboard Needs Your Help! We are in need of pasta products,
spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, soups (except chicken noodle), tuna, rice,
canned fruit, peanut butter and jelly. Please no outdated food or dented cans.
All are invited and welcome to join NLD's Easter Choir! (singing at both

NL Custodian Needed We are looking for a part-time custodian at New Life.
This person must have transportation and will have mostly evening and
weekend hours. Interested in knowing more? Contact Ward Shope at the office.
Jon and Tracy Eide are hosting a Ukraine Prayer & Dessert Night. Come and
hear more about how God has established His Church in Ukraine and how it is
surviving and being used in the current conflict there. Join us Saturday,
March 14 at 7pm in the New Life Dresher Sr. High Room.

“The Light of the World”
Prayer Focus—Jubilee

Prayer/Praise Requests:




Pray that God continues to raise up a community of givers to fund
scholarships so that the currently 1,389 empty seats in the Jubilee network
schools are filled with low-income urban K-12 youth from Philadelphia,
Norristown, Chester, and Camden.
Pray for wisdom, collaboration, and God's guiding for school leaders,
teachers, parents, and students at our Jubilee network of schools. Pray that
together, God may bless their joint efforts to disciple and empower our
Jubilee scholars to build God's kingdom through their lives in families and
urban communities.
Praise God that Jubilee is increasing the number of scholarships offered
for the 2015-2016 school year, based on a growing number of generous
donors this year.
Praise God that 414 scholarships were awarded in the 2014-2015 school
year.

Thanks for praying for us!



Pray for some new students who started at HPCA in January, that they
would feel welcomed and would be able to adjust quickly.
Pray that our teachers would experience abundant energy and renewal
from the Lord.
Praise God for his continued faithfulness; He is doing amazing things in
the Hunting Park neighborhood.
Outreach
Prayer of Belief: Lord Jesus Christ, I admit that I am weaker and more sinful than I
ever before believed, but, through you, I am more loved and accepted than I ever dared
hope. I thank you for paying my debt, bearing my punishment and offering
forgiveness. I turn from my sins and receive you as Savior. Amen.
English as a Second Language Teacher Training: This two-day workshop
sponsored by New Life Glenside will be held this Friday, February 20 from
6-9pm and Saturday, February 21, from 8:45am-6pm. Help an English
language learner hear and see the Good News! Nancy Booher, an ESL
trainer with Mission to N. America, will give practical tools to use in the
ESL classroom and talk on how God uses ESL ministry. Cost is $50
(includes an ESL manual, lunch on Saturday, and refreshments
throughout). Attendance both days is required. Contact Laurel Kehl at
