Announcements
Welcome!
One of the riches offered to us in Jesus is access to God in prayer.
When Jesus' disciples asked him to teach them how to pray he
responded with what we call "The Lord's Prayer". These words have
been recited billions of times by millions of Christians for two
thousand years. Our hope is all of us will also learn from Jesus how
to pray and know the joy of praying to our Father in Heaven.
"Every word of the Lord's Prayer reflects the Lord's vision of what our
lives should be - unified, all-embracing response to the love of
our heavenly Father, so that we seek his glory, trust his care, and obey
his word, every moment of every day." - J.I. Packer
If you are visiting today we are glad you are here! Whether you
come with questions and curiosity about Christianity or are looking
for a church to call home we would like to get to know
you. Come by the info desk in the lobby to get more information
about New Life, ways to get connected to our community, and to
learn more about the many opportunities to grow in your Christian
life.

Prayer and Praise Requests:

Pray for us as we move into Northeast Philly this month. Pray that we
would connect with neighbors and get involved in the community.

Pray with us as we ask the Lord for others to join us in starting a church
plant and for God to show us how to minister to the needs of the
community.

Praise for the house He has provided.

Praise for John getting licensed in the PCA.
Outreach
Community Builders Event on Saturday, May 16 from 8am-noon. New
Life's ministry to aid needy neighbors in the community with everyday
projects around the house is coming. Both skilled and unskilled workers are
needed. If you'd like to participate as a volunteer, please RSVP Paul
MacQueen ([email protected]). You can also refer your own
neighbors who may need help.
Prayer of Belief: Lord Jesus Christ, I admit that I am weaker and more sinful than I
ever before believed, but, through you, I am more loved and accepted than I ever dared
hope. I thank you for paying my debt, bearing my punishment and offering
forgiveness. I turn from my sins and receive you as Savior. Amen.
