1450AM ANNOUNCE THEIR FIRST ANNUAL
“VIDA EN SALUD” HEALTH FAIR
Albuquerque, N.M. – Entravision New Mexico will host their first annual health
fair on Saturday February 21st, 2015 from 10am to 4pm. The event is designed
to provide basic health service and information to the underserved Hispanic
community living in the area. The health fair, which is free and open to the public,
will take place at the Expo NM Creative Arts Building.
Attendees will be able to speak with community providers, health related
business representatives, a range of social service experts as well as take
advantage of free health services like blood pressure and diabetes screenings,
mammograms, oral health and eye exams and many other services. Bi-lingual
doctors and health providers will be on hand to respond to concerns and
questions regarding topics such as nutrition, cold and flu prevention, maternal,
pediatric and senior health care as well as information regarding open health
care enrollment.
There will also be free activities for families including live music, raffles and
zumba demonstrations. The health fair is a collaborative effort organized by
Entravision New Mexico and its’ community partners including presenting
sponsor the New Mexico Health Exchange.
