ABOUT SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT, SMVDU
School of Business under Faculty of Management at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) has established
itself, as one of India's leading center for excellence in management education and research. The faculty of
management imparts education and training in varied areas of management under School of Business that
runs two programs: Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and M. Sc. Economics (Five Years Integrated Dual
Degree).
In previous years School of Business has organized various programs/ workshops that have benefitted the various organizations and its employees. Out of the various training program, projects and consultancy many of
them are related to organization’s sustainability, employees’ competence & capacity development and employees’ motivation. The department is also running a prestigious project on “Comparative Study of Firm Level

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) is a fully residential and technical university, under section 12 B of
UGC, established under an Act of Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature. The university is sprawled over a campus area 474 acres in the scenic surrounding adjoining the Trikuta foothills, in the vicinity of Katra and about 38
Kms from Jammu city.
