5. Draw an appearance chart on any two/four family members using more and more
adjectives.
6. Find out atleast 5 words in a week from dictionary and write their meaning and use those
words in the sentences.
7. Circle the subject and underline the predicate in any 10 sentences of the story ‘Mala Goes
To School’ in Content Book.
Activity/ Project Work:
1. Observe the people in your surroundings. Choose one of them as the character of your
story who goes on an interesting journey. Think about what can happen with him/her
during this journey. Draw a story map on chart paper and organise your ideas about the
story.
2. Look around you for all the actions and activities happening right now. Make an activity
book by drawing the different actions and describing each with a sentence.

3. Collect seeds of different colour & sizes. For example (Rice, Wheat, Pumpkin (Seed yellow).
Take a piece of cardboard and using glue sticks paste the seeds to make a pattern or design
or any other drawing.
4. Visit to a zoo and collect information about the eating habits of animals like bear, deer, lion,
birds etc. write a report on information collected in the scrapbooks. Also clicks photograph
there in zoo and paste along writhe information in the scrapbook.
5. Use separate notebook for holidays homework and make a nice cover.
6. Read Blocks 6 to 10 and find difficult words and also write their meaning on the notebook.
7. Learn all practice questions and glossary till Block - 5

Project Work
1. Give information about your state in the form of collage. (Pictures include-clothes, food,
festivals and historical monuments.
2. Paste pictures of your Journey in a scrap book. Write about the transport you used, where
you went and what was special about it.
3. Make a cute paper bag album of road signs by following the directions given below:
i) Take 3 brown paper bags.
ii) Put the bags one above the other.
iii) Told these bags in half.
iv) Punch holes with pencil.
v) Then tie cute ribbons.
vi) Finally, paste the pictures of different road signs with their names and also write what
these sign show.

meaning and write them in your holiday homework notebook.
