Behavioral Targeting & Retargeting
It’s a new concept in advertising where the ads are served to the user, based on the web sites and interest areas he visited, with
advertising that is specifically relevant to him.
BEHAVIORAL TARGETING
The users are, anonymously,
identified by their areas of interest
and online behavior, (how many
times he visited a certain section,
type of articles he reads, searches
he does etc..).
The behaviors are segmented in a
intelligent and quantified manner,
thus building the behavioral
segments.
In future visits, segmented ads will
be served to the users, according
to their interest areas regarding
their “history” in the
Controlinveste web site network.
RETARGETING
Users that have visited the Advertiser’s site will be identified whenever they visit a Controlinveste site and will see the Advertiser’s campaign.
Note: In order to create the Retargeting service, the Advertiser will have to implement the Controlinveste tag’s on their site.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. All campaigns are subjected to the availability of
the inventory/traffic.
2. Advertising is only accepted through the reception of an IO from the advertiser or its representatives, such as media or advertising agencies. The order is firm and irrevocable, with exception of what’s
explained in the point 4.
Controlinveste may solicit identification documents
from the advertiser, necessary for the billing process and to confirm the legitimacy of the solicitation
of the insertion.
Any complaints regarding the requested advertising
should be presented, in writing, 8 days after the insertion order.
3. The campaigns are accepted after reception of the
IO and the materials, 3 days prior to the beginning
of the campaign.
4. Cancelation Policies – All campaigns can be canceled without any penalty, when communicated by
writing, two weeks prior to the beginning of the
campaign. Campaigns that are canceled during their
execution are subject to a penalty equivalent to
50% of remaining value of the campaign that was
not executed. If the Advertiser does not respect the
payment conditions, that can cause delays or suspension of insertions, without previous notice by
Controlinveste.
5. All the messages in the banners, as well as their
links, are subject to prior approval by Controlinveste
before going online.
The basis for the rejection of a campaign can be technical, lack of due documentation, or its unsuitability by the editorial standards of the web site or if it
disrespects the Portuguese advertising code.
6. All IO’s presuppose the acceptance of the present
prices, terms and conditions.
7. Controlinveste is not responsible by any costs or
supposed damages caused by an interruption of service due to computer, electronic or external causes
beyond is control, such as: interruption of the link
between our servers and the ISP, long electrical fai-
lures, interruption of the electrical audit and distribution services and other external causes. In these
cases Controlinveste should redistribute the daily
impressions, so as to recuperate any eventual delay
within the time limits of the campaign.
8. The prices refer to the current rate cards, made
available to the advertiser by Controlinveste. Only
Controlinveste can alter the rate card, at all times,
since the advertiser knows, at the beginning of the
campaign, the current version to date.
9. All prices are subject to the current VAT.
10. The campaign billing is made in the beginning
of each month, over the number of impressions of
the prior month. Payments should be done in the 30
following days to the date of the bill, or interests will
be charged to highest rate permited by the law.
11. For the resolution of all emerging litigations from
the present contract, the Tribunal Cível de Lisboa
ruled by Portuguese law will be competent, renunciating all others.
