I den forbindelse ønsker vi å invitere alle tannleger til å feire sammen med oss!
Fagprogrammet er lagt opp med tanke på å vise enkelte av de fagområdene medlemmene
våre er involvert i. Vi har invitert gode foredragsholdere fra Norge, Sverige, Danmark og
Sveits. Det vil være mulig å være med på hele eller også deler av fagprogrammet.
Dagpakker vil være tilgjengelig for de som ønsker det. Vi håper at mange vil være med å

Arne Geir Grønningsæter
Grønningsæter tok sin Staatsexamen i odontologi ved Universitetet i Bonn i 1972 og fikk norsk
autorisasjon i 1974. Han tok sin spesialistutdanning i oral kirurgi i Bonn, Köln og ved Haukeland
Universitetssykehus i Bergen i 1982. Grønningsæter har vært ansatt ved Universitetet i Bergen siden
1977, og han har vært klinikksjef for Odontologisk Universitetsklinikk, instituttstyrer for institutt for
oral kirurgi og oral medisin og har også hatt en bistilling som overtannlege ved Haukeland
Universitetssykehus. Han har vært norsk counsillor i IAOMS, styremedlem i SFOMK og er fellow i ITI.
Grønningsæter har vært formann i NFOKOM og er æresmedlem av foreningen.
Hans Reidar Haanæs
Hans Reidar Haanæs er Cand.odont. i 1963, Cand.med. og dr.odont. i 1976 og spesialist i Oral
kirurgi og oral medisin 1978.Han har vært Professor ved Klinikk for oral kirurgi og oral medisin,
Det odontologiske fakultet, Universitetet i Oslo fra 1980 og har i mange år vært klinikkstyrer og
Dekan. Haanæs har publisert over 100 vitenskapelige artikler og har veiledet 9 doktorander. Han var
leder i NFOKOM fra 1985-1989 og er æresmedlem av foreningen.
John Jensen
Jensen er leder for Avdeling for oral og maxillofacial kirurgi ved Aarhus universitetssykehus i Danmark
og samtidig professor ved Avdeling for oral og maxillofacial kirurgi og oral patologi ved Det kongelige
universitet i Aarhus. Han er også tilknyttet Universitetet i Texas, Houston, USA. Jensen er utdannet
tannlege I 1977, spesialist i Oral og maxillofacial kirurgi 1987 og fikk sin PhD i 1998. Han har publisert
mer enn 50 vitenskapelige artikler og er en kjent kursholder nasjonalt og internasjonalt.
Per Skjelbred
Skjelbred er utdannet tannlege og lege ved Universitetet i Oslo. Han tok sin PhD i 1985 og ble
Spesialist i kjevekirurgi 1986. Han har arbeidet i 30 år ved Kjeve/ansiktskirurgisk avdeling på Ullevål
sykehus og leder avdelingen. Skjelbred er tilknyttet Det odontologiske fakultet, Universitetet i Oslo
som Professor II siden 1995.

Harald Gjengedal
Harald Gjengedal is Associated professor at The Institute of Clinical Odontology, University of Bergen.
He studied at The University of Bergen, where he received his Dental (1980) and Doctorate degree
(2012) and became specialist in oral prosthodontics (2003). The title of his PhD is ”Prosthetic
rehabilitation of the edentulous”. Gjengedal is newly elected Communication officer of ITI section
Norway/Sweden.
Cecilie Gjerde
Cecilie Gjerde received her Dental degree in 1999 and her speciality in oral and maxillofacial surgery
in 2006, both at The University of Bergen. Later she was employed at Clinic of Odontology,
University of Bergen and she is currently attending the PhD program studying stem cells and new
bone formation. Gjerde is on the Board of NFOKOM.
Heming Olsen-Bergem
Heming Olsen-Bergem received his Dental degree in 1997 and his speciality in oral and maxillofacial
surgery in 2005, both at The University of Oslo. He is currently Assistant professor at The
Department of oral surgery and oral medicine, IKO, Dental faculty, University of Oslo and is attending
the PhD program with focus on arthritis of the temporomandibular joint. He is also studying guided
implant surgery together with collegue Henrik Skjerven. He is Education delegate of the ITI
Norway/Sweden section and is President of NFOKOM.
Frauke Müller
Frauke MÜLLER is professor and chair for gerodontology and removable prosthodontics at the
University of Geneva. She was born in Kiel, Germany and studied dentistry in Bonn, where she
received her Dental and Doctorate Degree. Until 2003, she worked at the Department of Prosthetic
Dentistry of the University of Mainz, Germany where she received her habilitation (PD) in 1996.
Thanks to fellowships, she had the opportunity to spend several years at the London Hospital Medical
College, England (1988 and 1993/94). Professor Müller served on the board of several professional
associations: ECG (European College of Gerodontology), GORG of IADR (Geriatric Oral Research
Group), SSRD (Swiss Society for Reconstructive Dentistry). (SSRD), and ITI board of directors (chair,
ITI Scholarship committee). Since 2010 she is President of the Swiss Society for Dentistry for elderly
and handicapped persons (SGZBB). She is Associate Editor of Gerodontology and the textbook “Oral
Healthcare and The Frail Elder”. In 2013 she was awarded the IADR Distinguished Scientist Award in
Geriatric Oral Research. Her research activity is mainly related to gerodontology, oral function as well
as complete and implant prosthodontics.
Christer Slotte
Christer Slotte is a periodontist since 1993 and has worked with oral implants for more than 20 years.
He awarded his PhD degree at the Dpt of Biomaterials (head: prof. Tomas Albrektsson) at the
University of Gothenburg in 2003 and has since contributed scientifically in the field of biomaterials,
implant treatment and periodontology in several original papers and book sections. Currently, his
research focus on short implants and bone augmentation procedures using bone substitutes. Christer
is also Director of the postgraduate programme in periodontology at the Institute for Postgraduate
Dental Education in Jönköping, Sweden. He is also an ITI fellow and has lectured at several occasions
at ITI Study clubs and international congresses.
Ulf Nannmark
Ulf Nannmark received his DDS in 1987, his PhD in 1992 and his Senior lecturer (Docent)in 1992.
He is currently Associate professor at The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at The
University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Nannmarks current clinical & preclinical research aims at
exploring bone regeneration/biomaterials in implantology, and, to investigate gene expression by
PCR in bone. He has more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as >200 abstracts
and is an often invited speaker at international conferences, symposia and congresses.
