The Mustang May 2011 2011 Senior Edition Pioneer-Pleasant Vale School As we pass through these doors the final time as students, we pause to reminisce the past four years. Here we have laughed and cried; lived and loved. We’ve created friendships and memories to last a lifetime. Now as we go our separate ways we wish to share our joy of achievement with you. Her sibling is Jan Philipp Emde. She has attended Pioneer for 13 years, and her best friends are Amanda, Tonisha, Sonnie, Mary, Nicole, Hayley, Megan, Ana, Matt Stambaugh, Shelby Haub, Shelby Flavell, Caleb, and James. Her favorite class was Mrs. Millard’s English class, and her favorite songs are All In and The Words “Best Friend” Become Redefined. Her favorite color is neon anything. Shea’s favorite movie is The Princess Bride, and her favorite TV shows are House, Pretty Little Liars, and That 70’s Show. Her favorite books are Deadly Little Secrets and Hush Hush. Shea’s favorite food is penne pasta with pesto. Her idol is her great grandpa Jimmie Austin and her dream guys are Johnny Depp and Bam Margera. Shea’s hobbies are church, reading, and hanging with friends. Her favorite place on earth is Palm Springs, California, and her future plans are to attend OU for Interior Design. Shea’s most memorable moment was getting dragged by Nicole’s car or getting yelled at every single year at Frontier Camp. Her advice to future seniors is to live it up because it goes by pretty fast. Kaylie Christine Baughman, born March 4, 1993, is the daughter of Shawna Baughman and Doug Simmons, and Christian Baughman and Aimee Baughman. Kaylie’s siblings are Brenden Baughman, and Wes, Joey and Dakota Simmons. She has attended Pioneer for 7 years, and her best friends know who they are. Her favorite class is Mrs. Strickland’s English class and her favorite song is Little Bit Stronger by Sara Evans. Kaylie’s favorite color is orange. Her favorite TV show is Secret Life, and her favorite movie is The Notebook. Kaylie’s favorite book is Impossible, and her favorite food is Mexican food. Kaylie’s idol is her mom. Her dream guy is Tyler Lane Culbert, and her hobbies include singing and hanging out with her friends and family. Her favorite place on earth is at Kaw Lake. Kaylie’s future plans are to go to college and become a teacher. Her most memorable moment at PHS was when Christal Carrillo gave Ms. Mullen a rose. Her advice to future seniors is drama and fighting don’t matter; focus on school and make memories with your true friends, it goes by fast. Christian Michael Brown, born September 3, 1992, is the son of Shad Brown and Mandy and Patrick Early. His siblings are Kaleb Wallis, and Gracie May and Chloe Faith Early. Christian has attended Pioneer all 12 years and his friends are the senior class. His favorite class is going to the office. Christian’s favorite song is Home Boy by Eric Church, and his favorite colors are orange, purple, and white. His favorite TV shows are Two & a Half Men, Tosh.O, Rodney Carrington, and Swamp People. His favorite movies are Out Cold, Step Brothers, and Open Season. Christian’s favorite foods are seafood and Wings To Go. His dream girls are Kathryn Heigle and Ms. Dees, and his hobbies are fishing, riding his four wheeler with friends, and going to the lake. His favorite place on earth is Engineers Pass, Colorado. Christian’s future plans are a summer of fun and college; the rest is up to God. Christian’s idol is J.J. Hall, and his most memorable moments at PHS were hanging with James and Anthony in Miss Phipp’s class, and James and he running through the halls in a big box they couldn’t see out of. Christian’s advice to future seniors is live it up, high school goes by fast. Eric Antonio Camarena, born April 6, 1993, is son of Jose Camarena and Christy Decker. He has two sisters Maria Diane Camarena and Nayelli Camarena. Eric has attended Pioneer for 8 years, and his best friends are Callie, J.P., Manny, James G., Tyler S., Shane, Austin C., and Zac D. His favorite food is spaghetti, and his favorite color is blue. His favorite class was Ms. Watkins 11th grade English III class. Eric’s favorite movies are The Fast and the Furious and Friday. His favorite song is Tequila. His favorite TV show is Sports Center and his favorite book is Go Ask Alice. Eric’s idol is his family, and his dream girl is Callie Roberts. His hobbies are playing basketball, and hanging out with his girlfriend Callie, his friends, and his family. His favorite place on earth is his room, and his future plans are to go to college, and have a family. His most memorable moment at PHS is when he made 4 three’s in a basketball game. Eric’s advice to future seniors is to live life. Tonisha Delois Carr, born January 22, 1993, is the daughter of Tony and Roslyn Carr. Her siblings are Lakisha Hannon, Andrea Hall, Micheal, Shardaye and Ashanti Carr. She has attended Pioneer forever, and her best friends know who they are. Her favorite class is Mr. Norton’s. Her favorite song is Outta My System by Bow Wow featuring T-Pain. Her favorite colors are black and red. Tonisha’s favorite movies are The Green Mile and A Time to Kill, and her favorite TV shows are Pretty Little Liars and Cake Boss. Her favorite books are anything written by Nicholas Sparks. Tonisha’s favorite food is spaghetti. Her idols are her parents, and her dream guy is Trey Songz. Tonisha’s hobbies are chilling, reading, and hanging with her friends. Her favorite place on earth is her room. Her future plans are attending NOC and becoming a respiratory therapist. Tonisha’s most memorable moment was senior prom with everyone who was in the limo with her, and her advice to future seniors is drama’s dumb, have fun, and don’t procrastinate. Whitney Beth Christensen, born December 18, 1991 is the daughter of Jamie and Mark Christensen. Her siblings are Wesley and Zack. Whitney has attended Pioneer for 5 years, and her best friends are Grace Kelly, Randi Vaughn, and Amanda Hladik. Her favorite class is botany, and her favorite color is orange. Whitney’s favorite song is Remedy by Seether. Her favorite movie is Titanic and her favorite book is The Hunger Games. Whitney’s favorite food is hamburgers. Her idol is Hugh Laurie, and her dream guy is someone with similar interests. Her hobby is drawing. Whitney’s favorite place on earth is Russia, and her future plans are to become a cartoonist. Her most memorable moment at PHS was dissecting the shark in Ms. Janzen’s class. Her advice to future seniors is stay on top of things so it doesn’t come back to bite you later. Anthony Norris Clardy, Jr., born December 12, 1992, is the son of Anthony Clardy and Alieca Clardy. His siblings are Charles and Sahrena Clardy. Anthony has attended Pioneer for 13 years and his best friends are his senior class. His favorite class is Mrs. Phipps, and his favorite song is Dirt Road Anthem by Jason Aldean. Anthony’s favorite color is red, and his favorite movie is White Chicks. His favorite TV show is Meet the Brown’s, and his favorite book is What Would God Do. Anthony’s favorite food is shrimp. His dream girl is Jessica Alba, and his idol is his dad. Anthony’s hobbies are fishing, hunting, baseball, and riding his horses. His favorite place on earth is in the woods deer hunting listening to all the animals. His future plans are to farm by himself. His most memorable moment was when Bo Nealis hit Coach Riesen in the head with a baseball. His advice to future seniors is to have fun because it goes fast. Alex Del Angel, born August 11, 1993, is the son of Fidel and Teresa Del Angel. His sisters are Genesis and Sara Del Angel. He has attended Pioneer since 7th grade, and his best friends are Sonnie Gainer, Tevis Gill, Shane Mullen, Clinton Warren, and Colton Simpson. His favorite class at Pioneer is any with Mr. Norton. He has too many songs to name but his all time favorite bands are Mariana’s Trench, Rise Against, A Day to Remember and Asking Alexandria. Alex’s favorite color is light blue, and his favorite movie is The Lion King. His favorite TV shows are How I Met your Mother and Big Bang Theory. Alex’s favorite books are the Pendragon series. His favorite foods are enchiladas and burgers from In & Out, and his idol is Peter Parker. Alex’s dream girl is Hayley Williams (Paramore’s singer). His hobbies are practicing guitar, playing PS3, and drawing. His favorite place on earth is with you. Alex’s future plans are to go to college for a degree in architecture, get married, and have two kids. His most memorable moment at PHS was taking a 3 hour shower after football practice. His advice to future seniors is high school really isn’t so bad just live with it. Hayley Elizabeth Denker born January 12, 1993, is the daughter of Randall and Pamela Denker. Her siblings are Hannah Denker and Nicholas Denker. Hayley has attended Pioneer for 13 years, and her best friends are Bridget, Shea, Sadee, Molly, and James. Her favorite song is anything by T–Swift, and her favorite food is ice cream. Hayley’s favorite color is purple, her favorite movie is Pocahontas, and her favorite TV shows are SpongeBob and Glee. Hayley’s dream guys are Finn Hudson and Andy Milonakis. Her favorite class is the junior class, and her hobbies are golfing and church. Hayley’s favorite books are the Harry Potter series, and her favorite place on earth is Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. Her future plans are to go to OSU and be a kindergarten teacher. Hayley’s most memorable moments at PHS were winning state in golf, and getting in trouble at Frontier camp. Her advice to future seniors is go big or go home. Ciara Merlaina Dennett, born January 17, 1993, is the daughter of Merle Dennett and Kim Dennett. Her siblings are Paige, Lizzy, Cal, and Ty. Ciara has attended Pioneer for 8 years, and her best friends are Aaron, Sadee, Stormie, Callie, and Nicole. Her favorite classes are anatomy, library aid, and her 5th hour with Stormie, Sadee, and Tonisha. Ciara’s favorite song is I Hope You Dance by LeeAnn Womack. Her favorite color is purple, and her favorite movie is The Back Up Plan. Ciara’s favorite TV show is Pretty Little Liars, and her favorite book is Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler. Her favorite foods are spaghetti, Chinese food, and Mexican food. Ciara’s idol is her mom, and her dream guy is Aaron Chain. Her hobbies include reading, being with her family and Aaron, and being crazy with friends. Her favorite place is her room, and her future plans are to go to Autry for surgical tech. Her most memorable moments at PHS are prom night 2011, and when Rachel Millard tried to do the school song with Callie, Nicole, and her on senior night. Ciara’s advice for future seniors is to try not to grow up too fast, be yourself, learn from your mistakes, and enjoy every minute of your life because it’s a blur. Heather Marie Fincher, born September 2, 1992, is the daughter of Connie Fincher. Her brother is Randy Fincher. Heather has attended Pioneer for 13 years, and her best friends are Ceara Lockridge, Mary McAlister, Gary Arwood, Ruben Padilla, Grace Kelly, Megan Waltz, and Courtney Jackson. Her favorite classes are Shakespeare/mythology and band. Her favorite song is Learn to Live by Darius Rucker, and her favorite colors are lime green and blue. Heather’s favorite movie is Boondock Saints, and her favorite TV shows are NCIS and CSI Miami. Her favorite books are the Twilight series, and her favorite food is Mexican food. Heather’s idol is Joshua Lloyd Johnson, her cousin, and her dream guy is Paul Walker. Her hobby is hanging with friends and family, and her favorite place on earth is her grandparents’ farm. Heather’s future plans are to go to Murray State to become a Vet tech, and her most memorable moment at PHS was winning sweepstakes in band in 2008. Her advice for future Pioneer seniors is focus on school, not relationships or what other people think or say about you. Get your education first, relationships can come later in life; most important, be yourself. Tevis Dale Gill, born on June 5, 1993, is the son of Kim and Richard Koons and Tommy Gill. His brother is Kamen Gill. He has attended Pioneer since 3rd grade, and his best friends are Alex Del Angel, Clinton Warren, Joe Long, and Colby Wilkerson. His favorite class is any class with Mr. Norton, and his favorite song is Heartless by The Fray. His favorite color is aqua marine, and favorite movies are The Mask and Lion King. Tevis’s favorite TV show is Still Standing. His favorite books are the Pendragon series, and his favorite food is free food. His idol is his Grandpa, and his dream girl is Jennifer Ledger (the drummer from Skillet). Tevis’s hobbies are sports and reading. His favorite place on earth is Honduras, and his future plans are to go to college. His most memorable moment at PHS was going to state in baseball and having his name said wrong. His advice to future Pioneer seniors is live like you were dying. James Day Goodman, born December 14, 1992, is the son of Beverly Goodman and Lanny Goodman. His siblings are Matt and Ginger. James has attended Pioneer for 13 years, and his friends are Kaleb, Christian, Anthony, Eric, Colby, Tyler, Joe, Edward, Clinton, Oh Haybale Hayley, and Shea. His favorite class was Mr. Norton’s biology, and his favorite song is Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson. James's favorite color is lime green, and his favorite movies are Joe Dirt and Napoleon Dynamite. His favorite TV show is Two and a Half Men, and his favorite book is More Than a Carpenter. James’s favorite food is the free kind. His dream girl is Reba McIntire, and his idol is Isaac King. His most favorite places on earth are California and Oklahoma, and his hobbies are playing guitar and going to church. James’s future plans are to own houses for real-estate. His most memorable moment at Pioneer was running around the school in a box with Christian Brown during class. James’s advice to future Pioneer seniors is to be nice to the lunch ladies. Jorge Israel Guerrero, born April 4, 1992, is the son of Jorge Guerrero and Aida V. Marquez. His five siblings are Abe Guerrero, Chris Guerrero, Misael Guerrero, David Perez, and Manuel Perez. He has attended Pioneer for one year, and his best friends are Cody Tome, Kyle Lehenbauer, and Mysti Johnson. Jorge’s favorite class is welding. His favorite song is Drop The World, and his favorite color is neon green. His favorite movie is Paranormal Activity, and his favorite show is Family Guy. Jorge’s favorite book is Durango Street, and his favorite types of food are Mexican and American. His idol is Ice Cube and his dream girl is his current girlfriend Jennyfer. Jorge’s hobbies include working on cars and quading. Florida is his favorite place on earth, and his future plans are to become a probation officer. Jorge’s most memorable moment at PHS was running track with his friends. His advice for future Pioneer seniors is don’t ever give up. Emmanuel Guzman, born June 2, 1992, he is the son of Fiacro and Ana Guzman. His siblings are Stefany, Henry, and Edith Guzman. Emmanuel has attended Pioneer for 11 years. His best friends are Alex, Clinton, and Eric. Emmanuel’s favorite class was having P.E. with Mr. Deckman. His favorite song is I’ma Do Me by Rocko, and his favorite color is spicy pink. His favorite movie is American Pie Band Camp, and favorite TV show is George Lopez. Emmanuel’s favorite book is No David, and his favorite food is sushi. His idol is Eric Camarena, and dream girl is Rachel Ray. His hobby is noodling, and his favorite place on earth is working at Jumbo’s. Emmanuel's future plans are to buy a lawn mower and start a business. His most memorable moment at Pioneer was playing hop scotch in grade school, and his advice to future seniors is just to laugh out loud! Ana Marie Hernandez, born August 29, 1993, is the daughter of Jose and Andrea Hernandez and Cherri Carson. Her 5 siblings are J.J., Franny, Carolina, Jonathon, and Adriana. Ana has attended Pioneer for 11 years, and her best friends are Zayra, Toe, Kaylie, Shea, Megan Waltz, and Lacy. Her favorite class is Mrs. Ott's cooking with Lacy. Her favorite song is Won’t Let Go by Rascal Flatts, and her favorite colors are blue and pink. Her favorite movies are all the Toy Story movies. Ana’s favorite TV shows are Teen Mom and NCIS. Her favorite food is chicken alfredo. Ana's idol is her cousin Kayla, and her dream guy is Derek Jeter. Her hobbies are hanging with her friends and Matt, and her favorite place on earth is Mexico. Ana’s future plans are to become a neonatal oncologist nurse. Her most memorable moment at PHS is when she actually got to come to school. Ana's advice to future seniors is don’t take it for granted, you’ll miss it when it’s gone. Amanda Kate Hladik born March 21, 1993, is the daughter of Bernard and Mary Hladik. Her sisters are Gina and Emily. Amanda has attended Pioneer since kindergarten, and her best friends are Shea, Tonisha, and Tevis. Her favorite classes are botany, Mr. Deckman’s 8th grade class, and English IV. Her favorite songs are Never Say Never and Drops of Jupiter; favorite movies are Toy Story and Ferris Buller’s Day Off, and her favorite TV shows are The Big Bang Theory, The Office, and SNL. Amanda's favorite books are anything by Nicholas Sparks and the Bible; colors are red, aqua blue and hot pink, and food is chicken alfredo. Her idols are her Mimi and her parents. Amanda’s dream guy is someone who is taller than her, has a good sense of humor, and loves God. Her hobbies are hanging out with friends and family, reading, and listening to music. Her favorite place on earth is the dock at Lake Carl Blackwell or her pond. Amanda’s future plans are to become a teacher, get married, and start a family. Her most memorable moment at PHS is all the fun times with her best friends, especially prom night, and her advice for future Pioneer seniors is don’t procrastinate and have fun!! Megan Carabeth Hopkins, born January 7, 1993, is the daughter of Kathryn and Ray Hopkins, and Safi and Michelle Khan. Her siblings are Chris, Brian, Amanda, Jessica, Jeremy, and Alisha. She has attended Pioneer for 3 ½ years, and her best friends are Grace Kelly and Suzanne Street. Megan’s favorite class is study hall. Her favorite color is blue, and her favorite song is Voices by Chris Young. Megan’s favorite movies are anything scary, and her favorite TV show is Secret Life of the American Teenager. Her favorite book is The Outsiders, and her favorite food is Reeses. Megan’s dream guy is Josh Turner, and her idol is her dad. Her hobbies include texting, babysitting, and bowling, and her favorite place on earth is anywhere around her nieces and nephews. Megan’s future plans are to own and operate her own day care. Her most memorable moment at PHS was her first day of school when Edward and Eric were playing the odds and evens game. Megan’s advice for future seniors is to have fun! Grace Caitlin Kelly, born July 6, 1993, is the daughter of Stephanie Smith and Ken Kelly. Her siblings are Shane Kelly, Brittany Park, Christian Kelly, and Peyton Philips. Grace has attended Pioneer for 4 years, and her best friends are Whitney C., Randi V., Amanda H., Heather F., and all her peeps at the lunch table; everyone else knows who they are. Her favorite class is Mrs. Strickland’s English class, and her favorite song is I Love the Way You Hold Me by Jamie Grace. Green is her favorite color, and her favorite movie is Finding Nemo. Her favorite TV show is NCIS, favorite book is Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, and her favorite food is chicken parmesan. Grace's idol is her mother, and her dream guy is a tall, cute, religious pilot. Her hobbies are reading and listening to music. Her favorite place on earth is Ireland, and her future plans include going into pediatric nursing. Grace’s most memorable moments happened in Mrs. Ott’s 6th hour. Her advice to future Pioneer seniors is try to stay out of the drama and enjoy the time you have left. Edward Emil Layton, born May 7, 1993, is the son of Tammy Houston and Erie Layton. He has four sisters Erica, Eron, Elisha, and Elivia. Edward has attended Pioneer for 13 years, and his best friends know who they are. His favorite class is any kind of math. Edward’s favorite color is green, and his favorite movie is Law Abiding Citizen. His favorite food is Chinese. Edward's idol is Albert Pujols, and his girlfriend is his dream girl. His hobbies include any sport and hanging out with Haylie. Edward’s favorite place on earth is on the baseball field. He plans on going to UCO to get a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. His most memorable moment at Pioneer was making it to the state baseball tournament. Edward’s advice for future seniors is to work hard, have fun, and regret nothing. Sadee Ane Lewis, born December 16, 1992, is the daughter of Stephanie and Keith Reiner. Her siblings are Danielle McCage and Tyler Gunter. Sadee has attended Pioneer for 13 years, and her best friends are Ciara, Callie, Nicole, Stormie, and Haden. Sadee’s favorite song is You’re Still the One by Shania Twain. Her favorite food is tuna with mustard and pickles. Her favorite place to be is the lake, and her favorite color is turquoise. Sadee’s favorite movie is The Night at the Roxburry, and her favorite class is 5th hour study hall with Stormie and Ciara. Her favorite TV show is Teen Mom. Sadee’s hobbies are playing sports, hanging out with her friends, family and boyfriend, playing with her dogs, and fishing. Her dream guy is Ryan Reynolds. Sadee’s future plans are to go to college, become a registered nurse, get married, and start a family. Her most memorable moment at Pioneer was this year’s prom and after prom. Her advice to future seniors is don’t take it for granted because it goes by faster than you think. Joseph Lee Long, born November 25, 1992, is the son of Gene Long and Melinda Long. His siblings are Harley, Melia, Adina, Johnny, Benjamin, Jesse, and Emily Long. He has attended Pioneer for 9 years, and his best friends are Colby Wilkerson, Tyler Woolley, Tevis Gill, Trevor Warren, and Kayla Pendleton. His favorite class is science, and his favorite song is Cowboy Hat by Chris Ledoux. Joe's favorite movie is Step Brothers, and his favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother. His favorite color is red, and his favorite book is Holes. Joe's favorite food is Chinese, and his idol is John Wayne. His dream girl is Jennifer Love Hewitt, and his hobbies are shooting skeet, fishing, and going to the lake. His favorite place on earth is the mountains, and his future plans are go into the Air Force and be a pilot. His most memorable moment at PHS was killing Chisholm in football. Joe's advice to future Pioneer seniors is to get ready for college; it goes by faster than you think. Shelby Conor Isaac Maddox, born May 18, 1993, he is the son of Joey and Rebecca Maddox. His siblings are Josh Reddick, Michael Scannell, and Sunny Reddick. Shelby has attended Pioneer for 7 years, and his best friends know who they are. His favorite song is Your Body is a Wonderland by John Mayer, and his favorite color is blue. His favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber, and his favorite foods are anything his grandma and mommy make and Craig Whatley’s BBQ. Shelby’s hobbies are hanging out with friends and his girlfriend, and sports. Shelby’s dream girl is Katy Perry. His favorite place on earth is Beaver Lake, AR and his future plans are to go to college and make a lot of money. Shelby’s most memorable moment at Pioneer was his seventh grade year as a football manager when they beat Weleetka. His advice for future seniors is to have a blast and enjoy every second. Mary LeEllen McAlister, born November 5, 1992, is the daughter of Mark and Jolene McAlister. Her siblings are Mark McAlister and Alisha Hall. She has attended Pioneer for 4 years, and her best friends are Kaylie Baughman, Megan Waltz, and Cristhian Delarosa. Her favorite classes are zoology and English 4. Mary’s favorite songs are Maybe by Sick Puppies and All the Rest by Twiztid, and her favorite colors are blue, pink, green, and orange. Her favorite movie is A Walk to Remember, and her favorite TV show is Jersey Shore. Mary’s favorite book is Story of a Girl, and her favorite food is mashed potatoes. Her idol is Cristhian Delarosa. Mary’s hobbies are texting, hanging out, work, and softball. Her favorite place on earth is anywhere but Enid. Her future plans are to graduate high school and go to NOC and major in PreMed. Mary’s most memorable moment was when Riley Benda brought a chicken to school and they told him that Mark McAlister had killed it. Her advice to future seniors is don’t change for anyone, be you, and don’t let others influence you into doing something you normally wouldn’t do; and make sure you stand by your friends no matter what. Stormie Nicole McDonald, born February 22, 1993, is the daughter of Rita and Dewayne McDonald. Her brothers are Trevin and Traytin McDonald. She has attended Pioneer for 12 years, and her best friends are Sadee, Ciara, Megan, Callie, Nicole, Kaleb, and Chandace. Her favorite class is 5th hour study hall with Ciara, Sadee and Toe. Her favorite song is Can’t Stop Partying by Weezer and Lil Wayne, and her favorite color is green. Stormie’s favorite movie is Super Troopers, and her favorite TV show is Jersey Shore. Her favorite book is Go Ask Alice. Stormie’s favorite food is bacon cheese with jalapenos. Her idol is her mom, and her dream guy is Shamar Moore. Stormie’s hobby is hanging out with friends, and her favorite place on earth is her room. Her future plans are to go to college and get a degree in behavioral science. Stormie’s most memorable moments at PHS were just being with friends, and her advice to future seniors is enjoy your senior year it goes by fast. Shane Tyler Mullen, born May 20, 1992, is the son of Pat Mullen and Judy Mullen. His siblings are Sandy, Mary, and J.P. Mullen. He has attended Pioneer for 14 years, and his best friends are Shelby Maddox, Austin Collins, Holden Hedges, Caleb Reed, Alex Del Angel, and Clinton Warren. Nicole has attended Pioneer for 8 years, and her best friends are Callie, Ciara, Sadee, Stormie, Shea, Megan and Sonnie. Her favorite class is any of the science classes, and her favorite song is Love in a College Town by Luke Bryan.
