Tim Eggeman, PhD
Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Tim has guided the Company’s development since its inception. In addition to his duties as CEO, he has successfully led the Company’s
collaborations with government R&D programs and currently serves as the Principal Investigator for a $31.25MM cooperative agreement
between ZeaChem and US DOE. Prior to founding ZeaChem, Tim was an independent consultant in the biofuels industry serving the National
Renewable Energy Laboratory and a number of industrial clients. He was Process Development Manager at Chronopol, a unit of the Coors
Brewing Company, where he led a group that developed manufacturing technology for biodegradable plastics based on polylactic acid. He
was also a Process Design Engineer with Burns & McDonnell, where he worked on projects in the pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, corn
wet milling, corn dry milling, and petroleum industries. Tim has numerous patents, a Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Kansas, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Illinois. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of CO.
Pete Wilhelm

Pete is an experienced manufacturing leader having spent 25 years in the manufacturing, construction, and engineering fields. Prior to
ZeaChem, Pete was a Corporate Project Manager and Plant Manager with Cascades Tissue Group where he executed the successful turnaround of a failing tissue manufacturing operation. He worked with Boise Cascade in two different paper mills and eight corrugated
container facilities over a seventeen-year career serving in various production capacities rising to the position of Production Manager before
moving to corporate position as Manufacturing Services Manager of packaging operations. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Idaho and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon.
Russ Murray
Senior Engineer
Russ has over 40 years of experience in the energy industry with a focus on plant operations and maintenance. Most recently Russ was
Manager of Engineering and Maintenance at Sinclair’s Sinclair Wyoming Refinery where he was involved in the design and implementation
two major expansion projects. Prior to that, Russ was Vice President and Refinery Manager at Paramount’s Southern California Refinery.
Before joining Paramount, Russ worked for UOP’s Management Services Division assigned to Saudi Aramco’s Refinery near Riyadh, Saudi
Arabia. There Russ initially was Manager of Operations and later was assigned as the Manager of Maintenance and Materials. Russ started
his career with Gulf Oil Corporation working in Canada and Japan. Russ has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University at
Kingston.

Joe Regnery
Chief Commercial Officer
Joe has twenty years of experience providing business, legal and regulatory guidance to the traditional, alternative, and renewable energy
sectors. Prior to joining ZeaChem in 2010, Joe was President of Sulde Ridge Investments where he provided business and project development
services to entrepreneurial enterprises in the renewable alternative energy sectors. Joe has served as Director of Project Development for both
Great Point Energy and Rentech, leading efforts to commercialize their synthetic natural gas and Fischer Tropsch technologies. Joe has also
served as Regional Counsel at Calpine Corporation and Contracts Manager for Siemens and Westinghouse. Joe holds a BS in Economics and
Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and he received his Juris Doctor from Case Western School of Law.
David Gross

David has over 20 years of experience as a financial executive working for early stage and middle market companies. When he joined ZeaChem
in 2011 he redesigned the company’s financial reporting system to be compliant with U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulations. He is responsible for
ZeaChem’s ongoing financial reporting and forecasting, tax compliance, and coordinating financial statement and internal control audits. Prior to
ZeaChem David worked for 8 years as CFO and Controller for RGL Forensics, an international professional services firm. Prior to that he worked
for two early stage software companies as Controller and as CFO. David began his career in public accounting, having worked for Coopers &
Lybrand and Hein & Associates. David is a licensed CPA in the State of Colorado. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the
University of Michigan and a Masters of Business Administration Degree from New York University.
Mike Goodwin
Plant Engineer
Mike’s broad experience in the biorefining and pulp and paper industries will ensure that ZeaChem’s project will be managed to strict technical,
cost and schedule standards. For the past three years he has been the chief technical resource at ZeaChem’s demonstration plant, managing
maintenance and upgrading operations. Prior to that he served in similar roles in the pulp and paper sector, managing maintenance and
engineering. In seventeen years with Boise Cascade (now PCA) in Wallula, WA, he managed a wide array of projects and later managed the
mechanical maintenance department. As such he was responsible for maintenance planning and engineering, equipment reliability, and
preventive/predictive maintenance, as well as the maintenance budget and safety performance. Along the way, he managed the largest
turnaround the mill had incurred in several decades. Mike has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University in Pullman, WA,
and a Masters of Engineering Management from Washington State University in Richland, WA
