container as well. THANK YOU!!

SECOND SUNDAY OF EASTER
ST. THOMAS SCHOOL NEWS
The students of St. Thomas raised over
$2,500.00 for Baystate Children's Hospital! The
fundraiser was sponsored by the Student Council
and involved saving change to help "change" the
lives of children in need of services provided by the
hospital. Thank you to all who contributed!
The Jewelry Club continues to meet and create every Tuesday
after school.
If you wish to learn more about St. Thomas the Apostle
School, please visit us at www.stthomasws.org. Thank you!
CATHOLIC SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP—St.
Thomas parishioners, who have students in our parish school and/
or at one of our area Catholic high schools, can have St. Thomas
sponsor the student. Sponsorship is determined by participating
in weekly Mass along with an annual envelope contribution of
$750, the prior calendar year.
NEW BIBLE STUDY BEGINNING—On Wednesday, April
29th from 7 to 8:30 p.m., St. Mary's in Westfield will be
beginning a 7 week study of the Epistle to the Hebrews. Hebrews
is more like a sermon than a letter. It reviews the history of Israel
to demonstrate how Jesus Christ fulfills and even surpasses all the
hopes expressed in the Old Testament. It presents Jesus as the
unique High Priest who is simultaneously the one who offers
sacrifice to God and is himself the sacrifice. Those who receive
this sermon/letter are reminded of the great heroes of faith found
in the Old Testament and are urged to imitate their faithful
endurance. All, whatever the level of Bible knowledge, are
invited to attend this study, Please call Joanne at the Office of
Religious Education, 562-5484, to register or with any questions
by April 17th so that books can be ordered.

Wedding items. If you are looking to give a gift and are not sure
what to buy, we have gift cards available in whatever amount you
