BAPTISMS
The Sacrament of Baptism is administered on specific Saturdays
throughout the year at 11:00 AM. Parents should contact the Parish
Office to register for the baptismal seminar, which is held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:15 PM.
MARRIAGES
Marriages should be arranged at least six months in advance of the
Wedding date. Please contact Deacon John Fielding at deacon johnf @
yahoo.com, who conducts the initial inquiry; this should be done prior to
making any other arrangements. Pre-Cana Program required.

Today’s readings speak of hospitality. Abraham, who cheerfully did for his guests all that desert hospitality required, was
rewarded with his heart’s desire - a son. Martha also busied
herself with all the details of hospitality but grudgingly and
with complaint. Am I a cheerful or a grudging giver?
Living Stewardship
We are grateful this week for all stewards in our parish who
“give drink to the thirsty” by donating to help build wells for
water for those in need or making an effort not to waste water,
especially in regions suffering from drought.
The regular collection on 7/10/16 was $4,523.00 The
second collection for Maintenance and Repairs was $1,331.00.

Our bulletin publisher, JS Paluch, would like to increase revenue
from our bulletin (increased revenue could mean a larger color
bulletin for our parish). In order to increase revenue, the publisher
wants to hire a St. Rocco’s parishioner who will work with JS
Paluch’s account manager for St. Rocco to sell ads here in Glen
Cove.

Family, marriage and individual therapy, provided by New York
State licensed therapists including therapists who specialize in Self
Esteem issues, Stress Managemanet and Substance and Chemical
