Sunday School
The children's Sunday School program that is
conducted at our 10:45 Mass has grown! This is
great, but there is a need for more volunteers to help.
Teens aged 13-17 are needed to help pass things out
and/or keep the group in order at our sessions. Also,
we are in need of one or two adults to come forward
and conduct the lesson one or two Sundays per
month. Pre-planned lessons will be provided. This
is an easy and fun group! Anyone interested can call
Debbie at 715-304-9194.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
The St. Vincent de Paul Food Collection of
October 18 and 19 brought in 48 pounds of
food. Thank you! It all adds up! We will be
having our Food Collection boxes out in the
Gathering Space every third Saturday and
Sunday of the month.
In addition, in September (a typical month), 8
families have been helped with utilities, 7
families with rent, 6 families with furniture, 9
families with clothing, and 1 with groceries. All
this is possible because of generous donations
and some earnings. Thank you for your
continued support.

RE FAMILY NIGHT
Mark your calendars for the next Family
Night: Wednesday, November 5. Our
presenter is Special Agent Winscher from the
State Department of Corrections and his topic is
Drugs in Shawano. During this presentation,
the students will be participating in their Safe
Environment class. Potluck starts at 5:30pm in
the cafeteria and the presentation starts
at 6:30pm in church. School families as well as
any interested parishioners are invited. Potluck
donations as follows:

of community throughout Sacred Heart.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
In honor of our veterans and their service to
our country, the Catholic Order of Foresters
would like to send care packages to active
service members. Any parishioners with a
family member on active duty, in the States or
overseas, can submit a mailing address for him/
her and we will send a care package for the
holidays. Please submit addresses to
[email protected] by November 11 so
packages can be assembled and mailed in time
for Christmas.

concepts and creating projects inspired by their faith
and love of God. Looking ahead, we could use the

There is now a Certified NFP instructor closer to
our parish. Debra Brandt, (715) 535-2571 is
with Four Parish Catholic Family, St. Anthony in
Tigerton.
She is offering two sessions at the Tigerton
location for marriage prep
couples. This requires two
classes held on November 2
and 9 from 9:00am to noon.
Couples are required to
attend both days as part of
the requirement. Cost is
$100 per couple. This covers
materials and facility use.
