YSD Bursary Programmes
Important Notes:
Scholarship commences from September 2015. Application period is from 3 March to 2
April 2016. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email.
Diploma Bursary Programme
•
Obtained minimum (5) five credits in SPM or minimum CGPA of 3.00 for Diploma;
•
Total monthly gross household income of RM3,000 and below;
•
Interested candidates who are in their first year (semester 1 & semester 2) at top
local universities are encouraged to apply.
Undergraduate Special Support Bursary Programme
•
Completed STPM/ Pre-University/ Foundation/ Local Matriculation/ Diploma
(minimum CGPA of at least 3.00);
•
Total monthly gross household income of RM3,000 and below;
•
Interested candidates who are in their first year (semester 1 & semester 2) at top
local universities are encouraged to apply.
Undergraduate Special Needs Bursary Programme
•
Completed STPM/ Pre-University/ Foundation/ Local Matriculation/ Diploma
(minimum CGPA of at least 2.50);

Interested candidates who are in their first year (semester 1 & semester 2) at top
local universities are encouraged to apply.
2) Accepted Fields of Study and Universities
Bursaries will be offered to individuals pursuing any fields of study in any recognised
academic institutions in Malaysia.
3) Value Of Scholarship
This bursary award covers tuition fees, living and book allowanceup to a maximum
amount of RM25,000 per year.
Note: The scholarship will only cover expenses incurred after
recipients (i.e. upon execution of the scholarship agreement).

Program Pengkayaan Kemahiran Yayasan Sime Darby
Program ini bertujuan untuk memberi peluang biasiswa kepada individu yang
berkecenderungan ke arah kemahiran vokasional untuk menjalani program diploma dan sijil
di Akademi Sime Darby seperti berikut:
1)
Kolej Kesihatan Ramsay Sime Darby
• Diploma Kejururawatan, Diploma Teknologi Makmal Perubatan, Diploma Fisioterapi,
Diploma Pembantu Perubatan
• Sijil Asas Sains Kesihatan
Program-program yang ditawarkan telah diluluskan oleh Agensi Kelayakan Malaysia (MQA).

Akademi Industri Sime Darby
Kursus pensijilan Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) tahap 1-3 yang mematuhi model yang
ditetapkan di dalam Standard Kemahiran Pekerjaan Kebangsaan (NOSS) dan sistem
pensijilan dibawah Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK).
Syarat-Syarat Kelayakan
Warganegara Malaysia;
Berumur tidak melebihi 25 tahun dalam tahun permohonan;
Jumlah pendapatan kasar bulanan isi rumah tidak melebihi RM3,000;
SPM (minima 5 kredit bagi program di Kolej Kesihatan Ramsay Sime Darby dan 3 kredit
bagi program pensijilan di Akademi Industri Sime Darby)/ Asasi/ Matrikulasi/ Diploma
(minima CGPA 3.00).

Program Dermasiswa Yayasan Sime Darby
Program ini memberi peluang kepada penerima biasiswa untuk melanjutkan pelajaran di
peringkat pra-universiti dan sarjana muda di institusi pendidikan tempatan dan antarabangsa
yang telah dikenal pasti oleh Yayasan Sime Darby.
Program Dermasiswa Tajaan Khas
Program ini memberi peluang kepada pelajar dari keluarga berpendapatan rendah dan telah
mencapai prestasi akademik yang memuaskan untuk meneruskan pengajian di peringkat
diploma dan ijazah sarjana muda di institusi pendidikan tempatan yang diiktiraf di Malaysia.
Melalui program ini, pemegang biasiswa juga akan didedahkan dengan program pembangunan
dan latihan industri komprehensif sebelum memulakan kerjaya di Sime Darby.
Kursus pengajian yang ditawarkan dibawah program ini adalah seiring dengan keperluan
perniagaan dan tenaga kerja Sime Darby seperti kursus dalam Perniagaan, Kejuruteraan, Sains
dan Teknologi.
Program Dermasiswa Keperluan Khas
Fokus utama program ini adalah untuk memberikan bantuan kewangan kepada pelajar
dengan kelainan upaya (OKU) untuk meneruskan pengajian di peringkat diploma dan ijazah
sarjana muda di institusi pendidikan tempatan yang diiktiraf di Malaysia.

Warganegara Malaysia;
Berumur tidak melebihi 18 tahun bagi program pra-universiti dan tidak melebihi 25
tahun bagi program sarjana muda;
Jumlah pendapatan kasar bulanan isi rumah tidak melebihi RM10,000;
SPM (minima 7A atau A+) STPM/Pra-Universiti/ Asasi/ Matrikulasi/ Diploma (minima
CGPA 3.50) atau minima 3A untuk program A-Level;
Aktif dalam kokurikulum dan khidmat masyarakat.
Warganegara Malaysia;
Berumur tidak melebihi 25 tahun dalam tahun permohonan;
Jumlah pendapatan kasar bulanan isi rumah tidak melebihi RM3,000;

Step 1: Click at the link provided at the bottom page of the website to apply.
Step 2: Perform Eligibility Checking
Applicant will be required to perform the eligibility checking. Once done, click the “submit” button at the
bottom of the page.

Please check your email after you submitted the eligibility checking form. An email containing login details
will be sent to applicants who are successful in the eligibility check.

Note: Password should be a combination of alpha-numeric with minimum of 8 characters.
Applicants are encouraged to change the password once login into the system. Click at Change Password
at the Menu Bar to change the temporary password to your new password. The new password will be used
every time you login into the system.
To proceed to the next page, click Next button. You are encourage to click Save button before proceeding to
the next page to avoid loss of data. DO NOT click “Submit” button if you have yet to complete all 12 pages of
the online form.
Step 5: Fill in all the particulars required

Passport size photo
In your personal particulars page (Page 1 of 12), you are required to upload your recent passport sized
colored photo into the system. Preferred size for the photo is 600 x 800 pixels. Please ensure your document
is properly attached and uploading process is completed before you proceed to the next page. Maximum
size of files allowed for uploading is 500KB.
Page 2 of 12 – Current Address
Kindly ensure that you enter the full address in the field provided for correspondence and future
communication.
Page 3 of 12 – Family Details
You are required to give details for any person (living or deceased) who is or was your parent(s) or
guardian(s).
If you choose the person’s Status as “Employed”, you have to key-in the basic salary in the “Amount” field.
Please note that it is compulsory to attach the latest month payslip of parent(s) or guardian(s) as proof
documents for those with status “Employed”.
Likewise, “Retired” parent(s) or guardian(s) should be supported with Pensioner’s Card and Pensioner’s
Statement. For parents who are self-employed, please attach Tax document or income confirmation letter
from LHDN / Magistrate or related.

Page 4 of 12 – Education Details
Applicant is required to enter the education qualifications or details starting from the most recent one up to
secondary school level. Subjects and results must be inserted using the following format:
Subject-Grade,Subject-Grade. Example: English-A-,Bahasa Melayu-A+,Mathematics-A
Each qualification should be supported with scanned copy of original result transcript or relevant certificate.

You are allowed to enter up to 3 choices of Universities and Courses in the field provided.

We allow up to 3 documents file for uploading and maximum of 500KB size for each attachment file.
For copy of parents/ guardians NRIC, please scan all documents in one file.

Page 11 of 12 – Questions
The maximum length accepted for the answer to each question is 500 characters only (about one
paragraph). You can use website such as http://www.webworldindex.com/countcharacters.htm to check your
character count. Make sure your answers are within the limit otherwise you will not be able to properly submit
your application.

Once all details is completed and confirmed, applicant must acknowledge and agree on the self-declaration
statement to proceed for submission of application.
Step 6 – Submission of application form
Once all details have been completed and are confirmed, click “Submit” button. Your application will be
directed to our administrator for processing. The application cannot be retrieved and no changes or
amendment can be made to your application account once application is submitted.
Kindly ensure that you submit your documents BEFORE the deadline given. Application that only saved until
the deadline have passed will not be considered.
