WINE COURSES AND TASTINGS in a winery or in town
Explore the wines of the Veneto, Italy’s most important Region for DOC and DOCG wine
production: Prosecco, Soave, Valpolicella, Amarone.
The experience can be arranged within a 2 ½ to 4 hour window, including a light lunch, in a
restaurant, enoteca or vineyard in or around Verona. The 4 hours Wine Trip also incorporates a
tour of the winery and an expanded lesson on matching wine with food.
The standard lesson may be part of the Day or Half-Day Trips.



The Wines of the Veneto: Clients will be given an introduction to the principal vineyard zones of the
Veneto, discussing what makes these areas unique. They will be told about the main indigenous
grape varieties used in the wines, as well as being given a description of how the wines are made,
including appassimento - the process that makes Amarone wine special.
How to taste wines: The tasting of 4 wines (sparkling Prosecco; crisp, dry white Soave; fruity and
fragrant Valpolicella; and rich, full-bodied Amarone) will be conducted by a wine trade
professional. Clients will learn what the aspect, fragrance and flavor tell us about a wine’s quality,
grape varieties and age. We will examine both technical and descriptive tasting vocabulary,
fundamental for creating a memory bank that will help the consumer make future decisions about
the wine he or she buys and drinks.
Matching Wines with food: The clients will be able to experience how matching a wine with different
foods affects one’s perception of a wine’s flavor. Then, over lunch, they can put their tasting skills
into practice and share their sensory sensations. The tutor will offer to answer additional questions
and continue the talk about abbinamento.
HOSTELRIES’ and ART SAFARI
Safari around the hostelries and taverns of Verona or the bacari of Venice to discover unspoilt
spots.
Half day and full day-tours featuring wine, food and other delights of Verona. Start your tour
discovering taverns while admiring the beautiful monuments of the city, then move to the
vineyard-clad hillsides. Don't miss the best Osterie's City Safari, the “Verona wine-tasting path”
taking you through the town of eternal love. This is the most pleasant way to enjoy the true soul of
this town. Together we will discover a paradise of arts and flavours following a pathway from River
Adige – the ancient business area crowded by thousands of characters and where the most
ancient inns are still located. Today you will still find old people playing cards, playing mandolin
like in the old times of Berto Barbarani – Verona’s poet – who made of those inns his preferential
spot to court the town’s young ladies.

WINE TASTING CHALLENGE
Designed for CORPORATE CLIENTS, as an INCENTIVE activity and for TEAM BUILDING.
The atmosphere of a wine tasting is ideal for bringing people together and getting them to
express themselves. We know how to stimulate and animate people with this activity so as to
achieve the corporate client’s goals. We offer short courses and tasting sessions, which put
participants in touch with their basic sense impressions, freely expressed in descriptions and as
opinions in innovative communication exercises. These are aimed at reinforcing interpersonal
relationships and positively influencing group dynamics.
BLIND TASTING
Blind tasting … as you’ve never done it before OR a concert, wine & food tasting in complete
darkness. Experience the taste of wine without using the sense we rely upon most.
After a tour of the cellars, the visitor is taken to the tasting room where he/she can decide to be
either blind folded, or to have the bottles or the glasses covered. This is a very good way to learn
how to use our senses (smell, taste) without the help of our eyes. It lies within the skill of our team to
split people into groups and create a sensory and educational game that will entertain, amaze
and educate.
DAY TRIPS
A MORNING MAKING CHEESE
There are cassificos where small groups of tourists may participate in the cheese-making process
(stirring the milk, separating the curds from the whey, etc.).
At the end of the tour, members of the group may put their initials on the top of the cheese and
some months later the cheese-maker will send the group their cheese.
SOAVE, OLIVE AND VINES
Does the idea of eating homemade bread toasted over an open fire and slathered with olive oil
from a local frantoio (olive oil mill) sound more appealing than visiting another museum? Does
sipping a glass of fine wine and gazing out at the vineyards of the Veneto sound more inspiring
than contemplating Roman debris? If so, let us whisk you off into the hills by private car and
driver. Visit to the medieval town of Soave and its castle. A carriage ride through the vineyards,
lunches at top (but not necessarily easy to reach) restaurants.
GARDA LAKE TRIPS
Visit this amusing private island “ISOLA DEL GARDA” and enjoy a ride on private motor boat. The
Island is situated on the Brescian side of Lake Garda. You can get there in approximately 20/30
minutes by boat.
Today it owes its charm to the extraordinary Venetian neo-Gothic style villa, designed by the
architect Luigi Rovelli at the beginning of the 20th century. It is an imposing harmonious building,
rich in surprising architectural details. It boasts a beautiful 18th century painting by Carlo Carloni.
Below, the terraces and Italian gardens slope down to the lake. The vegetation is luxuriant and
rich in, exotic plants and unique flowers. Taste their wine and superb oil.

Architecture and Design walking tour (3 ore)
Guided by a qualified architect, this exclusive
walking tour will make you discover Milan’s
contemporary architecture, starting back from the
50’s to the more recent revolutionary landscape. The
highlight of this tour will be the Fashion and Design
Museums (to open in April 2015). The belvedere from
the 25th floor of the Diamond Tower will be the best viewpoint of the City and final destination of

Expo Milan 2015, is a unique opportunity to visit the World Fair and its great pavilions together with

moving into popular neighborhoods and areas with their
own special charm. Together with the invaluable
guidance of a professional street photographer, guests
will be free to explore and have fun with their cameras, looking for unusual aspects of the urban
life and landscape, enjoying and capturing the most out of the visiting experience.
Depending on the time schedule, a lunch or dinner break will be a chance to share and review
some of the guests shots.
Italian Gourmet Experience (4 hrs)
Join us for an exclusive Walking Tour of the City. A truly unique experience that will take you to
savor everything behind the finest Italian food and what makes it so unique. Meet a professional
pastry-designer inside a traditional pastry shop production lab; discover how fresh mozzarella
cheese is actually made! The tour will end up with a visit to the only farm house survived in the
center of the City. The most evocative place for local wine and food tasting experience. Our
passionate and professional Guide, will enhance the city hike with stories, legends and concealed

In collaboration with BEHANDY we provide tours and activities for people with special
needs, for those with sight or hearing disabilities, mobility difficulties and food intolerances.
BeHandy is an association specializing in travel for people with special needs, such as people with low vision,
blindness, hearing impairments, mobility impairments or celiac disease, that may have great difficulty when it comes to
travelling.
The primary goal of the association is to provide necessary information and travel solutions to all, offering tailormade travel packages to suit individuals with disabilities. Our mission is to offer equal opportunities to all the persons
with disabilities willing to travel and spend their holiday anywhere in the world, mapping the territory, creating events,
offering education opportunities and targeted information.
The aim is, where possible, “to throw a stone into the pond” in order to awake the consciences, trying to increase the
current service quality level of tourism business and activities. This synergy made us a key-player in the accessible
tourism and a valuable resource for the Incoming.
We have obtained the Patronage of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan and also the Patronage the Lombardy
Regional Authority and ENIT (Ente Nazionale Italiano per il Turismo). For all the events located in Lombardy Region
