Principal of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic and Junior High School, Hinsdale, Illinois Position available: July 1, 2014 Elementary St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Elementary and Junior High School; ideally situated in westsuburban Hinsdale, Illinois; offers world-class educational experiences that are firmly rooted in traditional Catholic doctrine to students in grades kindergarten through eight. Within this premiere K-8 Diocese of Joliet Catholic school, all students are actively engaged in an integrated faith-based curriculum that is both comprehensive and rigorous. Challenging academic courses are aligned with state and national standards as well as with the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools. Religion is integrated throughout all content areas, and a variety of before and after-school programs are structured to meet the spiritual, moral, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs of each child. School programs are designed to ensure that every graduate of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic School is formed in faith, educated in excellence, and sent to serve. Applications are currently being accepted for a faith-filled, dynamic, and effective educator to serve as principal of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Elementary and Junior High School beginning in July, 2014. The successful candidate must be a professed and practicing Catholic who upholds the teachings of the faith and who exemplifies an unwavering commitment to Catholic education that is firmly rooted in Gospel values. St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Elementary and Junior High School aspires to remain a leader in academic excellence among both public and private suburban institutions of learning. To realize this goal, the principal must be an outstanding and experienced educational leader with demonstrated expertise in pedagogy, curriculum, instruction, and assessment within a kindergarten through grade eight learning environment. In addition, the successful candidate must possess an advanced degree in educational leadership; hold a current Illinois Professional Educator License with General Administrative and/or Superintendent Endorsements; and have to his or her credit at least five years of successful administrative experience, preferably in a Catholic school. Most importantly, the candidate is expected to adhere to all principles and tenets of the Catholic faith, to maintain a lifestyle that is in accord with Church teachings, and to promote the best interests of his or her students and the Roman Catholic Church at all times.
