Dear Families and Friends,
On behalf of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School, we are pleased to present you with the
Annual Report for the 2014—2015 school year. St. Catherine had a great year with many
achievements. We are proud of our accomplishments, from implementing our first Annual
Fund, improving our infrastructure and technology, and seeing the transformation of Herbert
Hall into a lovely venue for the Gala Auction.
Thank you to our benefactors, parents, families, parishioners, and friends; with your continued
generosity and support, we are able to continue our mission at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic
School. In addition to the financial support we receive, we wish to acknowledge the hard work
and dedication of our parent volunteers. Thank you for your continuous time and talent.
A special thank you also goes to the teachers and staff. I am humbled by the depth of your
commitment to the spiritual and educational achievement of our students.
Please be assured of my daily prayers for you.
In Christ,
Sister Mary Patrick, O.P.

2014 — 2015 Supporters
Thank you for
your generous gifts!
St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School implemented
our first Annual Fund campaign during the 2014 2015 school year. The funds from your charitable
support directly support the cost of educating our
children, classroom enhancements, student programs
and services, and will be the foundation of St. Catherine’s fundraising program.
All proceeds from this year’s Annual Fund went directly to support technology, equipping classrooms
with a variety of learning devices. In our first year of
implementing the Annual Fund, we are excited to
announce, we raised over $32,000. A special thank
you to the parents, faculty, staff and grandparents.
With your generosity and support, we are able to
strengthen and improve education for our students.

St. Patrick’s Day Gala Auction
St. Catherine’s Annual Gala Auction was held on
March 7, 2015. As we celebrated with a St. Patrick’s
Day theme, it was an exciting evening during which
we all came together not only to support our amazing school but to see the transformation of Herbert
Hall into a glamorous venue. A warm and special
thank you to those who attended and supported the
Gala Auction. Due to the continued generosity and
support of our families, we made a profit of $33,485.
With the event being held at the school we were able
to save over $8,000, giving us additional funds to
profit the school. All profits from the event went
toward technology, including the upgrade of our infrastructure over the summer.
Thank you to our generous
Gala Auction Sponsors!

GRACE Scholars is a Georgia nonprofit corporation
and tax exempt charity. GRACE has met the requirements for designation as a student scholarship organization
(SSO) in Georgia. Because GRACE is an SSO, Georgia taxpayers can redirect part of their tax liability to
GRACE and qualify for a generous tax benefit created
by the Georgia legislature—a 100% tax credit. As
GRACE is a tax exempt charity (501-C-3 organization), gifts to GRACE may also qualify as charitable
contributions under federal law.
The mission of GRACE Scholars, Inc. is to provide
children from families with financial need throughout
the state of Georgia with greater opportunities to secure a quality K-12th grade Catholic education. In
addition, the goal is to afford qualifying families a
quality education while providing donors with an opportunity to use their tax dollars for Catholic school
scholarships.
To the families, parishioners and friends of the St.
Catherine of Siena Catholic School scholarship fund,
our sincere gratitude for your generous contribution
and continued support. With your generous support
of GRACE Scholars for the 2014-2015 year, St. Catherine’s received over $94,000 in scholarship designations. Four new students were awarded GRACE,
bringing our total to 26 scholarship students.
