St. Nicholas School Summer News June 13, 2016 Summer Begins As your summer begins and your calendar fills up, please stop by the school website to sign up for our BIG FUNdraising weekend. CourntryFest and the Baseball Tournament fall on the same weekend— July 22-24. All help is needed. Come on out and meet some new people, bring friends. NICHOLAS SUMMER NEWS 1 Awards Many awards were given on June 2nd at the last school Mass and awards ceremony. Other awards were given at graduation at night. NICHOLAS SUMMER NEWS 2 Collect Your Paper & Cardboard… We have a place for you to put it! The St. Nicholas Capital Campaign will be sponsoring a PAPER RECYCLING FUNDRAISER DRIVE JUNE 2nd – JUNE 16th • We receive $100 per ton of paper. • The proceeds from the paper drive will go towards the Playground for the Building for the Future expansion project. • The dumpster will be located in the corner of the parking lot off CTY S – near the cemetery and close to the street. Please pass this information onto anyone and everyone! The more paper and cardboard we collect the more money we raise toward a new Playground!!! ST. NICHOLAS SUMMER NEWS 3 Dress Code Changes for 2016-17 school year Red, White and Blue We are Freedom!! Beginning with the 2016-17 School Year we will be wearing Red, White and Navy Blue uniforms at St. Nicholas School. This is what we’d like to see… ‣ Red, White or Navy Blue Short sleeve polo/collared shirts ‣ Red, White or Navy Blue Long sleeve polo/collared shirts ‣ Red, White or Navy Blue Dresses ‣ Red, White or Navy blue plain sweaters or fleece ST. NICHOLAS SUMMER NEWS ‣ St. Nicholas logo Navy Blue sweatshirts ‣ Navy Blue or Khaki Bottoms (shorts, pants and skirts) remain the same. No red bottoms. “Red“ is the school uniform primary color of Red, no variations. We are retiring the light blue shirts and dresses. Tuesday, August 30—Open House at St. Nicholas School will include a Shop ’n Drop where you can pick up uniform clothing for your children that others shared back with the school when children outgrew it. 4 ST.
