To make good of Klucze’s
potential and solve local
problems we decided to
cooperate!
In 2005
We have started to work intensively for the the local
community, with the following objectives:
 activation of unemployed & disabled people
 local development
 actions against poverty
At the beginning our
partnership was informal!
Until now we have implemented
together 10 projects
in which 250 unemployed people
have found jobs.

We signed a formal partnership
agreement for the development of
our small country!

All partners implement projects that involve
socially and professionally the unemployed.
They are introducing modern methods of
working with long-term unemployed people
(mini-coaching).

During our collaboration other partners have joined us,
such as schools, Educational Forum (ngo’s network),
Voluntary Fire Brigades, private enterprises and active
citizens.

Other partners supported the cooperative- not financially, but
with other available resources. A company that initially did
not have any subsidy was established.
OPS – commissioned food support for
customers (poorest municipalities)

Our first residence was renovated and
financed by private entrepreneur

The main objective was to
restore (reintegrate) people who were put
at risk of social exclusion into the
labour market by conducting joint
enterprise and to allow the unemployed a
professional activation.
Today OPOKA is a well
established business entity that
employs 50 people, including
80% of disabled people who
have learned the profession of
cook, waiter and kitchen help.

OPOKA provides training
services for the unemployed
and institutions involved with
services on labour market.
Besides teaching the profession of the disabled people, there are
also some workshops of social competence and medical
rehabilitation.

We have reconstructed and equipped a new building by
ourselves
In summary the effects of local
partnerships are:
 The first social cooperative set up by two legal persons in Poland
 After 1 year of our activity we had income of 1 200 000 PLN
(about 300 000 EUR)
 50 work places for people in a particularly difficult situation on the labor
market
 Social services for the local market
 A stable source of funding for local develompent projects
 We do not multiply financial actions financed by UE in the arena of our
district
