program designed to identify
leaders and motivate them to take
a leadership role in the community.
Now in it's 17th year and with
alumni totaling over 500 the
program has become a network of
business leaders who contribute to
the community by volunteering with
area organizations and serving on
the boards of local agencies.
Leadership Wooster is a
series of ten day-long sessions
each devoted to a community
topic.
Students learn about
the local economy, government,
education, medical field, community
organizations, volunteerism, arts &
religion and small & large enterprise.

guest bartending event at the Wooster Inn and
their creativity paid off! Although they surpassed
the boys only by a few bucks, both teams were

Why did you join the YPs? I was looking for a way to meet
other like-minded, young, career driven individuals outside of my

What do you like the most about Wooster? The longer I live here,
the more I'm amazed at the talent, education and connections
we have for a small town in Northeast Ohio. Wooster is a
very interesting and unique community with a diverse range of
companies and organizations. Moving back to Wooster was an
adjustment, but I like that I was able to purchase a house here
for less than renting a shared apartment in DC. And the lack of
traffic is pretty fantastic too!
Where do you see yourself in 10 years: In 10 years I will have
completed by MBA, have a fulfilling career and love what I do.
