NEW PEO STRATEGIC PLAN ADDRESSES ELLIOT LAKE COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS
An article was published in the Daily Commercial News on
January 20 recognizing PEO’s strategic plan as a road map
for our organization. PEO has released a three-year strategic
plan, which will see the implementation of several
objectives including a number from the Elliot Lake Inquiry
Commissioner’s recommendations. The plan was approved
by PEO Council at its November meeting and will be used to
determine the priorities for PEO programs and initiatives.
In the article, PEO Registrar Gerard MacDonald said,
"Probably the biggest challenges are a number of the
recommendations that we see coming out of the Elliot Lake
taskforce. One of our strategic objectives is to implement
those recommendations as best we can."
