Annual
Golf Teams Sought for 21st Annual Golf Outing
Teams can still register for the 21st Annual Golf Outing scheduled for Monday, June 13, at the Riverside Golf Club. The event is open to the public for
foursomes of men, women and mixed. Registration and lunch will begin at
11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start a 12:30 p.m. A buffet dinner of broasted
chicken and tenderloin tips will be held from 4:30-6 p.m.
Fox Communities Credit Union will again be selling yard sticks, $20 per
team, to help extend a shot. Once this happens the length the shot is increased and then decreased from the yard stick until the entire yard is
used.
New this year is a “Rain Policy”. This policy can be found on the poster
listed on the Chamber website at www.clintonvillewichamber.com
A registration form is found on Page 6. Fee is $75 per person and the price
includes a hot lunch, 18 holes of golf with cart, prizes, contests at holes and
the buffet dinner. There will also be raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing.

Business & Personal Succession Planning
If you’re a large business or small business succession planning needs to be
a priority for you to have in place. Is your plan in place?
Mike Morse, First State Bank, will be sharing this information at the next
Business, Bagels & Brew scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, 7:30-9 a.m. at Fox
Valley Technical College Regional Learning Center, 525 S. Main St.
Topics will include:
 What are some different aspects of business transition planning (i.e. preparing to sell a business outright or ownership transition over time).
 What are some different aspects of personal succession planning (i.e. preparing for retirement, preparing for generational transition of assets)

succession can do to a business and/or family.

Bear Creek Lions Joins Chamber
Fox Communities Offers Summer Events
Welcome the following new member to the
Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce
The Bear Creek Lions Club was chartered in 1973.
here are currently 79 members. Meetings are held
the first Monday of each month with a social gathering at 6 p.m., followed by a potluck meal at 6:30
p.m. and the meeting at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Meetings from May to October are held at the Bear
Creek Shelter and from November to April at the Bear
Creek Town Hal.
Donations that have been made in the past year
include: Bear Creek Fire Department and First Responders with monetary donations to help with
equipment and supplies as needed; Relay for LifeClintonville; Relay for Life-New London; Cerebral palsy; Clintonville Food Pantry; New London Community
Cupboard; Lions Club International Foundation; Sturm
Humanitarian Foundation; Restoring Hope Transplant
House; Wisconsin Eye Bank; Wisconsin Lions Foundation and Wisconsin Lions Pride.
The club also collects used eye glasses which are
taken to the Lions Camp in Rosholt. They in turn, inspect them and send them to third world countries
and recycle whatever they can.
At Christmas time the club distributes approximately 80 fruit baskets to people who are in need,
either having lost a loved one, something suffering
with health issues or anyone going through a difficult
time.
Wheelchair ramps are also built by the club for
people in the surrounding communities that are in
need of a ramp.
Recently a special camera that is used in surrounding schools to help detect early vision problems in
young children was purchased.
Summer months are busy with a Men’s Country
League softball on Tuesday nights May-August from 78:15 p.m. June-August T-Ball is held at 5:30 p.m. and
Little League follows at approximately 6:30 p.m.

you’ll want to join FCCU for “Bang for your
Buck” baseball game. Fans entering the
gates will receive an envelope, some will
have money in them ranging from $1 to
$100. Games tarts at 7:05 p.m. at Neuroscience Group Field, Appleton.

Chamber Summer Office Hours Start This Month
Office hours for the Chamber of Commerce will be changing for the summer. Beginning June 17 the
office will be closed on Fridays through Friday, Sept. 2. Please make sure to mark your calendars accordingly. Chamber Bucks can be purchase Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Community
guides are available at the Tourist Hut located by Fox Valley Technical College during non-office hours
and this is the hut is open 24/7. Questions or concerns can be directed to the Chamber office at 715-823
-4606. Have a happy summer!
Keller, Inc. Building Projects
Keller, Inc. will design and build a 5,813 square foot office build out for Nicolet Real Estate-Advocates
for Healthy Transitional Living, under the direction of Keller project manager, John Elrick and architect,
Steve Klessig. Located in Ashwaubenon, construction will begin in June and is expected to be completed
in August 2016.
A 2,645 square foot restaurant for MACS under the direction of Keller project manager Dale Hulce and
architect Tony Tislau, will begin in June. Located in Appleton the construction is expected to be completed in August, 2016.
Saint Paul Episcopal Church, Suamico, will undergo a vestibule addition and altar medication under
the direction of Keller project manager Mark Nysted and architect Rob Lindstrom. The construction will
begin in June and is expected to be completed in September 2016.
A 10,000 square foot gymnastics facility for Carousel Gymnastics is planned under the direction of Keller project Manager, Vern Nystrom and architect Rob Lindstrom. The facility is located in Waupaca.
Construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2016.
Starz Dance Academy, Muskego, is planning a 9,735 square foot dance studio under the direction of
Keller project manager Nathan Laurent and architect Chris Manske. Construction will begin in early
Summer and is expected to be completed in late Fall 2016.
“Money Matters”
BMO Harris Bank will sponsor “Money Matters” on Wednesday, June 8, 6 p.m. Learn
the basics and the importance of budgeting.
The event will be held at the Clintonville
Public Library, 75 Hemlock Street. Refreshments will be served.
Tammy Borden Book Signing
Tammy Borden, a former Clintonville resident, will have a book signing on Saturday,
June 18, at The Living Room Coffee Shop, 10
a.m. to noon. The book “A Perennial LifeFinding Purpose in Every Season”, is a personal account of her tumultuous childhood,
a life-threatening eating disorder and discovering forgiveness, faith, healing and
hope. A free excerpt is available on Amazon, along with several reader reviews.

American Legion Steak Frys
The American Legion Steak Frys will be held on the
following Wednesdays from 5-8 p.m.: June 15, July 20,
Aug. 17, Sept. 21 and Oct. 19. The menu includes
steaks, pork chops or hamburgers. Steaks are $16; pork
chops are 1/$8 or 2/$10. The public is welcome to attend.
Keller, Inc. Hires Administrative Assistant
Laura Klinge, has been hired as an Administrative Assistant in the Wausau office of Keller, Inc.
As an admin assistant she will be the main point of
contact at the front desk. She will also assist all of the
project managers out of the Wausau office with typing
and reviewing proposals, arranging meetings and other
various duties.

WTCH Named Station and News Operation Of The Year
WTCH-AM 960 and 96.1 FM, a Results Broadcasting station, was named as Small Market Radio Station
of the Year and Best News Operation of the Year in the News/
Talk Radio category by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association
at the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Gala on Saturday,
May 7, in Madison.
Results Broadcasting General Manager Eric Voight said, “It’s
truly an honor to be recognized by our peers in the industry
across the state of Wisconsin. We have a great team here and

Shawano Walk-In Care Updates Hours, Adds Staff
Walk In Care at ThedaCare Physicians-Shawano has changed its
weekend hours to Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekday
hours remain Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Patients must be
registered 15 minutes prior to closing time to be seen that day.
Traci Berry, ThedaCare practice administrator in Shawano, said
the clinic staff evaluates patient needs based on the time they arrive and register. Having an earlier start time on weekend mornings will better meet patient demand.
Berry also announced the addition of two more nurse practitioners to the walk-in care staff. Kendra Konitzer, PA, will be joined
by Margaret Anderson, APNP, and Kathleen Elertson, APNP.
Konitzer and Anderson are both full-time; Elerston, part-time.
The Walk-In Care is located with ThedaCare Physicians-Shawano,
the clinic is adjacent to ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano, 100
County Road B.

ThedaStar Nurse Earns Safety Certification
ThedaStar flight nurse and safety officer Jeff Grimm is in rare company. He’s one of just 30 people in
the world to be certified as a Medical Transportation Safety Professional (MTSP-C).
Grimm attended the Association of Air Medical Services’ Safety
Management Training Academy one-week sessions in 2014 and
2015 before taking the certification exam earlier this year. The
programs goal is to crate an internationally recognized standard
that includes all aspects of safety management and risk mitigation
in medical transportation, with an emphasis on safety management systems, patient safety, workplace safety and aviation/
vehicle operational safety. ThedaCare Foundation-Neenah provided him with funding to attend the course.
Now that he has completed the program, Grimm plans to improve ThedaStar’s Safety management System (SMS). He said all
ThedaStar patients and crew members will benefit from having
the SMS in place and an increased focus on safety.
“With an SMS in place, we are not more proactive rather than
reactive in our safety program,” Grimm said. “This means our focus is on prevention of safety incidents by tracking trends and addressing minor issues before they expand into more severe safety
issues. The goal is to make ThedaStar the safest possible medical
transport program we can be.”
n addition to his MTSP-C, Grimm is also a Certified Critical Care
Registered Nurse and a Certified Flight Registered Nurse. He is also a licensed paramedic. He is from Manawa and lives in Weyauwega.

Results Broadcasting Names Station Brand Managers
Kayla McKenzie was announced as Brand Manager for heritage station, WTCH-AM 960 and 96.1 FM,
Shawano. McKenzie has been with the company since 2008 in various on-air roles.
“I’m excited to take this next step n my career with WTCH,” McKenzie said. “It has been a great experience to be a part of a radio station that is so very dedicated to its local community. I look forward to
continue to provide our loyal listeners with programming that is relevant, entertaining and local.”
Nick Shannon steps in as Brand Manger at Classic Hits, 99.3 FM WOWN, Shawano/Green Bay. Shannon
has been with Results Broadcasting since 2012 as the WTCH Morning Show and Breakfast Club House.
“I see this as a great new opportunity to bring the station brand into the community more. The Bee
has a tremendous following already, but this will give us a chance to spend event more time on giving
back to the community.”
JD Daniels is named Brand Manager at Hot Country, Frog Country 92.3 FM WJMQ, Clintonville. Daniels
has been hosting WJMQ afternoons since arriving in 2014.
“I’m excited and looking forward t the opportunity fro growth for Frog Country 92.3,” Daniels said.
“We’ll step it up in all areas including promotions, imaging and social media. We’ll continue to represent communities and loyal listeners that mean so much to us, maintain our small town charm and stay
on the cutting edge of music but we’ll do it through a fresh set of eyes and with a refreshed attitude.”
