WOMEN’S FAIR The 17th annual Women’s Fair brought together 385 exhibits including 130 fashion, beauty and jewelry booths, 53 homerelated booths and 60 health and wellness vendors and providers. Fashion and hair shows, cooking demonstrations, a fitness challenge, business workshop, keynote speaker, health screenings, game shows and shopping galore came together under one roof at Century II Feb. 20-22, 2015. Many exhibitors took advantage of paid advertising on facebook to "boost" a Women's Fair advertisement on their business page prior to the show. For a minimal cost of $5-$20, exhibitors were able to reach thousands more people in Wichita and surrounding areas. This was beneficial to the individual businesses (adding new "likes") as well as the Women's Fair as a whole (more attendees). Instagram & Twitter also offered ways for exhibitors to interact with attendees. Women's Fair "Hashtags" were springing up all over these platforms before and during the event... #womensfair2015 & #womensfair were some of the more popular choices. Photos of new products, fun events & gals enjoying their shopping experience increased interactions and visibility for Women's Fair exhibitors. This is an example of networking at it’s best. To get someone’s help, you need to offer your own in return – give value for value. Through the years, we have had great help from our exhibitors in promoting the Women’s Fair. The result is everyone ends up bringing in attendees for themselves and as well as fellow exhibitors in the Fair. As the synergy builds everyone is a winner!
