Wednesday Evening 31st May for renewal training, followed
by the exam on the 1st June. 6pm - 9pm both nights.
Advanced Resuscitation Certificate (ARC)
Training Friday Evening 23rd June 2006 from 6pm to 9pm and
Saturday 24th June 2006 9am to 1pm, with Exam Saturday
24th June 1pm to 3pm.
Tentative Bronze Course Dates (BM)
Start Sunday 25th June 2006 to run for approximately 9 weeks
Training Tuesday's 6pm to 9pm & Sunday's 8am to 11am
Tentative Surf Rescue Certificate Course Dates (SRC)

Surfers Paradise SLSC have passed on their thanks to the
Northcliffe IRB crew of Doshin Santetsu and David Collins,
who assisted during a mass rescue of 14 people on Sat
15th April. On that same Easter Weekend, Patrol number
five performed a rescue of 5 people at Northcliffe in difficult
conditions. Well done Patrol 5!!!
Thank You to all patrolling members that have performed
voluntary patrols this season. A special Thank You should
also go to those that have done extra hours beyond their
requirements. Your devotion has been greatly appreciated.

NORTHCLIFFE SURF NEWS
Congratulations to the “A” crew “The Hangers”, John, Ed,
Paul, Chris & Ron, for coming 2nd in the VB Boat Series. 1st
prize was $20,000 toward a new surf boat which we were in
contention for leading into the final round. A 2nd place in the
final round would have secured the overall series but
unfortunately Ron was knocked out of the boat and we
finished 3rd. Lost the boat by just one point!!!
The girls crew of Stacey, Penny, Krissy & Trudy finished 3rd
in the series and went on to gain 3rd at the State Titles. A really
Great effort!!! Gary “Huey” Collins - 1st year sweep was
great!!!
Finally Deano Tobin is getting married to the lovely Amanda.
His bucks day is this Saturday. Everyone is to meet in the
Public Bar at the Gold Coast Race Track… Should be a good
