Local Youth Pastors and Coaches teamed up to work daily at the camp.
Here is a view from the stage of the kids. There
was 275-300 kids registered at this years sports
camp. They were challenged with the Gospel
daily! We had an FCA Booth and gave out free
literature and prizes for those who quoted scripture and answered trivia questions!

helped get the word out to the community.
Coach signed for over an hour
any and all things that people
wanted signed. Young and old
came to meet and see Coach.
The 2nd Annual Sports Camp was successful. Kids between the ages of 7—13 were able to
choose two sports everyday. They could choose: football, baseball, basketball, cheerleading,
soccer, tennis or golf. Grace Fellowship Church allowed me the honor of sharing devotionals
with the kids several mornings and invited us back for next year too. They also gave a $500 gift.
This money helped other athletes who needed financial help to attend FCA Camp this summer.

Zach Lynch, an upcoming senior, attended an ELITE FCA Golf Camp at
TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Verde, FL.
This was Zach’s 2nd year to attend
FCA Golf Camp and according to
Zach he had a blast! “I enjoyed the
Worship time and the Huddle Group
this year was great too!” Zach, at the
time of this printing, is at the Future
Masters in Dothan, AL where he just
shot his lowest score ever. He shot a
66! WOW! Praise the Lord Zach
has the Heart of a Champion!
Heart of a Champion! Do you have it? Hi, Teammates in Christ! This is the theme for all of the
FCA Camps across this nation, but Jesus Christ (THE REAL CHAMPION) now lives in the hearts of
literally thousands of young people today because of the Gospel which has been shared at FCA
Camps every summer for years! This time last year we were raising support to begin full-time in
October 2004. However, we still invested and sent a total of 5 from our area to FCA Camps.
Those 5 young men will never forget that summer. This year, the Lord has not just added but
multiplied our number from last year. This year the Lord allowed us to help send over 30 from
our area to FCA Camp. Just like last year, many of these were sent on full or partial scholarships
which you our “Home Team” has provided.
Home Team, as I saw student after student stand and go forward to receive Christ into their
hearts I could not do anything but weep before my Father in Heaven. As many of you know,
Camp season is not an easy time of year. Yet, it has always been and is still worth it all to know
young people have peace with God through Jesus Christ. They also now have a hope for their
future and a hope for today! I want to thank each of you who invest prayers, time and finances in
this ministry. Without our “Home Team” none of this would be possible! To God be the Glory!
