DEAR FELLOW PARISHIONERS, please welcome Fr. Wojciech
Kuzma who is the Vocational Director of Diocese. Father Kuzma
will replace me so that I might lead a young person’s retreat in my
role as missionary of mercy. Please pray for the success of the
retreat; young people have such a great need for an experience of
God’s mercy. Don’t we all!
THE RCIA TEAM will be presenting for the next
few weeks a movie on the life of Jesus entitled
"Jesus of Nazareth" which depicts his life from
his conception to his death and resurrection. All
are welcome to attend each Tuesday after the
Mass in the large meeting room.
FIRST FIVE SATURDAY’S DEVOTION - Holy
Hour: Liturgy of the Word, Teaching Homily,
Rosary & Adoration, this will continue on the 1st
Saturday of Each month beginning at 9a.m. in
the Church.
CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION - SUNDAY, MAY 29
beginning after the 11a.m. Mass you are invited to
process and pray the rosary down Glover Rd, to
Barton, Christina and Glover to the Church. Join on
this Spirit filled journey. Refreshments to follow in
the gathering space.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS CORNER:
THANK YOU to all those Knights and other
parishioners who helped out this past Monday
finishing the cleaning of the windows and continuing
the clean up around the grounds of the church. The
grounds look fabulous.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FUN TO DO
THIS SUMMER? IHM is excited to announce
that they will be hosting their first ever
youth-run Vacation Bible Camp! It will
take place at HERE AT IMMACULATE
HEART OF MARY DURING THE WEEK OF AUGUST 29 –
SEPTEMBER 2, 2016 9AM-12:30PM! We are looking for
anyone that will be going in to Grades 1-6 to come out and
participate in our Disney-themed activities that make the
love of God and scripture come alive magically and anyone
going in to Grade 7 or older to come help us make this
happen! Contact the Parish Office for more information or
fill out a registration form received from Immaculate Heart
of Mary or St. Gabriel’s schools! Adult volunteers needed!
CHRISTIAN MEDITATION every Thursday evening in
the church starting at 8pm. John Main, OSB, said this
about meditation "Each time we meditate we return to
the grounding consciousness of being" and "Meditation
is a continuous breakthrough into the present moment of God".
HEARING ASSISTED DEVICES are now available. Please see an
usher to sign one out before Mass and return it after Mass to
them. Thank you
SCENT-SENSITIVE: Please remember not to wear
strong scented perfumes, colognes, etc. We would like
our Church and Chapel to be a “Scent-Sensitive Zone”.

THE CATHOLIC WOMEN'S LEAGUE is presenting a
MINI RETREAT/TEACHING on WEDNESDAY, JUNE
8, 2016, BEGINNING AT 6:30 P.M. IN THE PARISH
HALL. Join us as we present Bishop Robert
Barron's video presentation on the seven deadly
sins, those great spiritual blocks that inhibit our flourishing in
relationship with God and one another. Based on Dante’s
writings, the seven deadly sins correspond to the seven stories of
Dante’s Mt. Purgatory. Pride, envy, anger, sloth, gluttony, avarice
and lust are all presented as patterns of dysfunction within us
that lead to unhappiness. Bishop Barron shows us how to
counteract these seven sinful patterns through a conscious
process of opposition, which are the “seven lively virtues." The
seven lively virtues offer antidotes to each sin and help set us on
the right path to healing and happiness. All are welcome to
attend.
